The problem is, opening night hasn't been announced yet. So the best solution is: see it during the previews, then go again post-opening night!
As for seating: at the ATA, seeing BARE in the front row was easily the BEST way to see it, hands down. The show works best the more intimate the setting, so sitting front row is ideal. (Of course, this was at the ATA, so I don't know about what will happen at Dodgers Stages.)

Shame on me for not fully reading this post before I left to go to NY, there was VERY important Michael Arden info that I missed out on while I was there, most importantly…It’s Only Life…I can not believe that I was in town and missed this, I could just cry. Oh well, I guess I can not be that upset we still had a great time at the Friday and Sunday night concerts.
Trisky posted above: I think everyone was at their best vocally speaking tonight. I'm not sure why the show was cut up as much. I think John even mentioned that the guitar player Dave would be doing his song, but that never happened.
I was also wondering what happened, it seemed very strange that it was over so soon? It was almost like they were rushing to get to the next song, maybe there was another act that was coming on after them, I don’t know? But, I would definitely have to agree that everyone on Sunday vocally sounded their best compared to Friday. I think the audience on Sunday just seemed to be more alive than on Friday. We almost didn’t go to the show on Sunday, but I am happy that I ended up going, because Friday they seemed to go into more detail before the songs which helped on Sunday to know what they were singing and why. Thank you Broadwayworld for sponsoring such amazing concerts!!!!!!
I was also fortunate enough to get to take a picture with Michael Arden after the show on Sunday, and now I am completely hooked, as if I wasn’t before, but still I don’t know what I am going to do, if I can’t be back on Sept. 22nd? I already have tix purchased for Aida’s closing on the 5th, and can’t make both trips so close together. I will have to be sure to make it in October to see Bare, by then the funds should be semi-recouped!!!
Well, I just had to share since I am bursting at the seams after this weekend, I absolutely love this Michael Arden worshiping thread, and just had to join in the fun.

Yes, we do worship him...but it's obvious why. This boy is amazing, period. Talent, modesty, personality, and oh that voice...ok I need to stop, it gets carried away.

Welcome Adamgal! The Ardenites are glad to have you!
And I'm goin' a little nuts waiting for the opening night announcement. I mean, I have opening night preview tix (yay for row B, right behind MadeofGold and Trisky!), but I'd really like to get opening night tix. I'm not above grovelling or doing other...erm, "lewd" things...heck, Damon's single now....
There are some people in the world who say that writing stories, or composing music or dancing sparkly dances is easy for them. Nothing interferes with their ability to create. While I celebrate their creative freedom, a little part of me just wants to punch those motherf*ckers in the teeth...[tos]
a cult? US? never. Maybe a tad bit fanatic, but I don't worship at an Arden shrine every night before bed. Although my signed 'bare' poster is right next to my bed...Hmmm.

"Welcome Adamgal! The Ardenites are glad to have you!" We sound like a cult! :)

I guess I am an Ardenite as well. I saw him this weekend at Joe's Pub. He is so amazing. That voice!! I can't wait till the show at the Opia. I want to hear more of his music. I can't believe he is only 21...so much talent.
Welcome Faile (so good to know that you've seen the light! LOL) and AdamPascalGal. Adam....hmmm...Adam....
Starlyricist, so glad you'll be behind me and Trisky at the opening night preview. If I feel someone poking at my back and gasping I'll know it's you.

LMAO BlueWizard. Reading that and then looking at the cute blank stare of Princeton was just too funny.
And WhatdoIneed, we do sound sort of like a cult but do we have to wear matching outfits or anything? I hope not. ;P
AG, how are rehearsals going?
And shouldn't we start a cult for John too? I totally want to be a Hillite as well. :)

I respect the term 'Ardenites' (i guess i'm included-Michael Arden is yummy), but do not forget that 'The Esparza Heads' was the first official unofficial fan club on BWW! (i am a founding member)
Has anyone gotten their hands on a recording of "N+R", which I'm still dying to hear?

yeah broadwayguy2, we know you're even more obsessed now that you were mentioned in his interview. You are however, only several steps away from a restraining order, it seems.
Yes I have seen the light...thanks to some very bad influence
Of course I may not make it to the Opia gig afterall...I just called to confirm my reservation, turns out they did not have it and I'm on the damn cancellation list. Considering the luck I had with the cancellation line for 'It's Only Life'...I think my chances of seeing Michael at Opia are slim to none I do have the absolute worst luck after all.
If I don't get into Opia, I am making a day trip to NYC to see the Broadway in Bryant Park. Travelling about 6 hours on a train btw DC & NYC in one day isn't too insane, right?
The Michael love is at an all time high at the moment, after coming off of the Joe's Pub gigs and It's Only Life, and now only 11 days until his very own show.
Every night when I pass Opia on my way home, I look up a little reverentially. Well either that or I think "how bizarre that they have potted plants on the scaffolding", I'm not really sure...
"Too young to hold on and too old to just break free and run" - Jeff Buckley
Is the BARE cast performing at Bryant Park? I don't remember....
And let me reiterate my love for Michael Arden. *fanning myself*
