This is just a week’s run; I’d assume Sing Street wouldn’t hit NY til spring at the earliest.
That’s a heck of a cast. Glad I bought tickets a month ago.
I won’t dare get my hopes up for Broadway since Parade is such a tough sell. BUT if Platt and Gaten wanted to do 9 months on Bway, AND if it gets glowing reviews at NYCC…well, a person can dream.
Where are you seeing that it's sold out? I only checked two dates but it looks like there are a good number of tickets for both November 1 and 2 (though it's fairly well sold). Balcony prices are starting at $95 (plus $10 fee) for those two dates (though when I went last week, I was able to get tickets for $78 in side balcony
A theory from a Twitter user thinks this will be going into Studio 54 in the spring as part of Roundabouts broadway season.
“I say this with no inside information, this is completely speculation on my part, but I really think there is a non-zero chance this Encores! parade production ends up at Studio 54 this Spring to complete Roundabouts current season. Manifesting it!”
I like this theory and I’ll be manifesting it as well.

Micaela Diamond sounds fantastic. Ben Platt is ... eh. His vocal style (lots of vibrato, anticipating the note, usually when the pitch rises) works for some stuff, but I'm not a fan with it being in Parade.
I guess Platt's voice sounds kind of nice? But can he not stand still for two seconds?! Seriously so distracting. I just don't understand the appeal for him. I went on YouTube after watching that and watched Jeremy Jordan and Laura Benanti performing at the NYCC concert and that is MUCH better. (Diamond sounds wonderful, though!)
