This is just a week’s run; I’d assume Sing Street wouldn’t hit NY til spring at the earliest.
That’s a heck of a cast. Glad I bought tickets a month ago.
I won’t dare get my hopes up for Broadway since Parade is such a tough sell. BUT if Platt and Gaten wanted to do 9 months on Bway, AND if it gets glowing reviews at NYCC…well, a person can dream.

If anyone has an extra ticket, I'm looking to buy one. It looks like the entire run is sold out.
Also, does anyone know what the face value was for front balcony?

The run is definitely not sold out.

Where are you seeing that it's sold out? I only checked two dates but it looks like there are a good number of tickets for both November 1 and 2 (though it's fairly well sold). Balcony prices are starting at $95 (plus $10 fee) for those two dates (though when I went last week, I was able to get tickets for $78 in side balcony
A theory from a Twitter user thinks this will be going into Studio 54 in the spring as part of Roundabouts broadway season.
“I say this with no inside information, this is completely speculation on my part, but I really think there is a non-zero chance this Encores! parade production ends up at Studio 54 this Spring to complete Roundabouts current season. Manifesting it!”
I like this theory and I’ll be manifesting it as well.

Was this not already the case? I swear I saw him listed on the NYCC site a week ago.
Is there a dress rehearsal given there is a gala on a Tuesday?

Micaela Diamond sounds fantastic. Ben Platt is ... eh. His vocal style (lots of vibrato, anticipating the note, usually when the pitch rises) works for some stuff, but I'm not a fan with it being in Parade.

Yes, an unfortunate clip showing less than his finest work.
She sounds superb and will walk away with the show I’m guessing.

Ben looks indulgent.

To be fair, I think Ben Platt has an unlikeability that might honestly work well for Leo Frank.
I never bought the whole "DEH broke him" thing until seeing this video...stand still, Ben!
God, totally.
He sounds so poppy which I'm not sure works for the character. I hate passing judgment off a rehearsal clip, but my expectations have been lowered.

When did overnight janitor become fashion?
But agree Diamond sounds fantastic. I'll be curious to see Platt's acting or if he just gives us Evan Hansen lite.

Yeah... I'm content with my decision not to see this. Still curious how all the other actors will be received.

He’s obviously been infected by a case of the Lea Michele’s , and cannot open his eyes when singing.
Michaela Diamond and the rest of the cast sound incredible. This has Broadway transfer all over it- as long as Platt delivers.
I guess Platt's voice sounds kind of nice? But can he not stand still for two seconds?! Seriously so distracting. I just don't understand the appeal for him. I went on YouTube after watching that and watched Jeremy Jordan and Laura Benanti performing at the NYCC concert and that is MUCH better. (Diamond sounds wonderful, though!)
His stage presence needs work, especially those little dips and shimmies. How does he keep getting these great gigs? Oh, never mind.
