Okay, gang, here's a toughie!
Obviously, I'm rooting for Benanti. And she seems the most likely and obvious with all the love letters for her tour-de-force as Louise. BUT! This seems like the tightest and hardest to predict race of the year.
Anyone agree?
I'm rooting for Sayre but it's tight. I tend to think Benanti has it.
Sayre all the way....

I really hope Benanti wins, but if she didn't Sayre is second.
Olga has my vote.
My vote would be for Benanti...
Benanti
Olga Merediz.
As far as Benati.. this is the third time I go see a show she is in.. and she is out.
I'm so thrilled that Sayre received her much-deserved nomination. I was afraid she was going to be over-looked.
That being said, this award is going to Laura Benanti.

I have yet to see Sayre, but I've only heard wonderful things!
This race seems it could go any way.
I think that Benanti has the award. No contest.

Really, winston?
There's so much love for all three women - it seems a close call.

Olga Merediz would be my choice.
iluvtheatertrash-
I honestly don't think so. And it's not just wishful thinking on my part =)
Laura Benanti will win this Tony. She's had it last summer at City Center.
I adore all three performances. I really enjoyed Loretta Ables Sayre's rendition of Bali Ha'i and Happy Talk. She just made the tears well up in my eyes. Beautiful performance. Any other year she'd win. That said-Benanti gave a career changing performance. Her Louise was incredible. The one thing I liked about that show.
I can't judge Sayre because I haven't gotten to see it yet so Benanti, but I wonder if in the heights will sweep

That's kind of how I feel...
While Mereditz delivers a beautiful performance, bringing a lot of light to some not-always-stellar material and Sayre apparently delivers something astonishing... Benanti has really breathed life back into her career. Besides the couple performances with pneumonia, her attendance has improved and she got all around love letters for her performance from the critics. Still seems there's room for an upset though!
Wouldn't it be wonderful to have another situation with the Best Actress and the Best Featured Actress in the same show?
That being said...we all know my vote's for Benanti.
Laura Benanti all the way. She's incredible.

Oh, thanks. I'll fix it. Sorry - I thought there was a T before the Z.
By the way.. Merediz was the best Dolly Levi I have ever seen. EVER.
Benanti, but I haven't seen Sayre.
Dame, where did Merediz play Dolly? and how long ago? I totally missed news of this production.
