No schedule yet. I'd also like further casting announcements. I mean, everything on here apart from Bette and David is hearsay, rumors, or "trust me"s from BWW users.
Thank you for mentioning that Valentina3. Everyone is reacting as if Gavin and Kate are confirmed but it's just wishful thinking right now. Heck, it wasn't until the artwork came out with David Hyde Pierce's name on it that we knew he was attached as to this day, no formal announcement has been issued mentioning he's involved.
yeah, I'm not buying tix until I know her schedule.

One would hope they do a press release before any ticket sales start.
There was a press release on DHP. I looked at it just th be other day as I was looking for a cast announcement.
If no press release is put out regarding her schedule before Saturday, I think it's pretty safe to assume they'll be willing to make exchanges once it's public knowledge.

I feel pretty safe buying tickets in hopes of seeing Midler for any Saturday evening performance.
So that's what I'll do.

^same. I was just hoping for official word before I drop big dollar$ on tickets
speaking of $ what is the price range for a theatrical event of this caliber? I'm hoping for some semi-decent Mezz seats for between $100-75 Just in case I wimp out and don't want to pay for front Mezz seats

the show has been cast. whether other conflicts arise from now to the start of the production obviously may vary.
baldwin and creel are irene and cornelius. melanie moore is cast as ermengarde. taylor trench is barnaby. carolee carmello was offered the standby but to my knowledge a financial agreement couldn't be met.

As excited as I am about this, I really want to hold off until more details are announced. But I also worry tickets will sell out fast. Very conflicted

This will be just my third time trying to buy Broadway tickets as soon as they go on sale, so please pardon my limited knowledge as I ask a couple questions:
1. How cutthroat is the whole buying tickets thing right at 10am Saturday? Is going online the best way? I tried for Hamilton Chicago tickets the day & time they went on sale and it was awful. I know it can't be that bad, but I'd love some opinions on a show with a superstar as the lead! (On the opposite end of the spectrum, I scrambled to buy Great Comet tickets as soon as they went on sale and felt foolish for rushing, minus the great seats we snagged.)
2. Is there a way to choose your own seats on telecharge? I've only purchased through the mobile site, so maybe that's why I haven't ever been able to choose my seats. (Or if that's a feature available on mobile, I'm a total idiot LOL)
Thanks for any advice or opinions!
To answer your second question, you do have the option to select your seat on the full site. However, it's very glitchy; having your phone out at the same time to use the mobile site may be advantageous.
Does anyone know if the Saturday start date is restricted to Amex holders or some other group? I can't find anything out there confirming Bette's tweet.
Why "barf" above for the casting of Taylor Trensch as Barnaby? I saw this guy as my first exposure to Curious Incident... and he was great. He has other Bway credits as well. Frankly, I'm glad to see a new name cast instead of the same names time and time again. They're all fine, but it would be nice to see a new different talent once in a while!

True. Bette was probably jumping the gun. Do we even know if it's Telecharge or Ticketmaster?

The Shubert theaters all use Telecharge.

Regarding her schedule, have we all just been speculating that Midler won't do every show?
I remember reading something months back about how she was only doing 5-6 shows per week...
If true, is it possible there will only be 5-6 performances a week?
Does it even pay to open the house the nights she's off? Who would but tickets for this knowing she is out?

I don't think we know any of those answers yet, which is bizarre if they're putting tickets onsale tomorrow.
Really hoping we're gonna see something more official before Telecharge goes live.

Expected the ticket on sale would have been announced with more fanfare...
Hope we get these answers before they go on sale...
