I too would love to see Ben. Anyone know if there's an official schedule or rotation set?
I asked Ben at the stagedoor this weekend. There is NO set schedule, and he said Chris will perform most shows. He said he will tweet when he is performing, but as of last saturday he knew no official dates. Bummer, but maybe in a few weeks he'll start doing matinee's?
Thanks for the info, Peron!
So is Bierko still being billed as Trunchbull with little understudy slips of paper in the Playbill every performance?
Marc Kudisch would be hilarious and awesome in this.

Mtilda does not use understudy slips. because there is a different Matilda every night, the Playbills have a Cast List insert. Unless you are familiar with who should regularly be performing certain roles (or read the Playbill closely to mkake a determination), you won't really know if it is an understudy/swing.

I think what he was wondering (and what I was wondering as well) was in the Playbill itself, is Craig's bio still listed as Trunchbull - despite the fact he'll be 'gone for 12 weeks' or did they push Chris' up and he's listed as the main Trunchbull (Which I'm guessing not since he's splitting the role with Ben.)

In addition, is Craig's name still listed as part of the cast on the poster outside the theatre with the cast names?

Bierko is still listed as Trunchbull in the Playbill. I've heard the same as Peron, though. As far as I've been told by a few people, Hoch will be covering most of the three months and Ben Thompson will go on if/when Chris calls out.

Why did they choose him ???? in the first place
Well, he didn't have an injury THEN. And they chose him, because THEY thought he'd be good. (There are many that will disagree...but that's true of any casting.)

Playbill Vault lists Hoch and Thompson as alternating the role of Trunchbull. Perhaps when they new Playbills are printed they will be the same?

I agree with the post that said Christopher Sieber would be awesome in this role. I would so love to see him play Trunchbull. I'm hoping he'll do the tour.
