What the hell!!! at least they could announce some of the leads...they are announcing casts for the next year for some other shows!and this will start in less than a month and we still have no clue who will star in Bombay Dreams? I don't know but I am guessing that they will finally get Janet Jackson or some huge pop star.

yeah...a star like Janet has never even done Broadway, she would never tour with a show! LOL...I just don't know why is it taking so long?
Anyways...at least I know Baayork Lee will direct and it is an Equity Tour.

oh...that's awesome Steve, I have seen this show from the mezzanine (both times), so hopefully you will have a good sight of the amazing musical numbers. The music is amazing. You will be the 1st one to see the tour of this show!

She would actually be perfect for the role of Priya.

re: Is anyone going to see the Bombay Dreams National Tour???

I will be seeing this show when it comes to Houston. I've heard a lot of mixed reviews about it, but a friend of mine told me that you have to understand that it's about (correct me if I'm wrong) making a Bollywood film which is campy in itself - so that's the style of the musical. Once you understand that - and educate yourself on Bollywood films then people will get the style and humor of the show.

re: Is anyone going to see the Bombay Dreams National Tour???

Did anyone see the Bollywood episode on "Passions" this past Friday? Great stuff! I don't think "Bombay Dreams" is scheduled for San Francisco and Sacramento is too far for me so I guess I won't be seeing it.

re: Is anyone going to see the Bombay Dreams National Tour???

honestly Houflip, i don't know much about Bollywood, i didn't even wanna see the Bombay Dreams, so it was a big surprise for me. After i saw Bombay Dreams, i rented "Bride and Prejudice" and i thought it was TERRIBLE. So i guess i don't really understand Bollywood and i still LOVED Bombay Dreams, the show was based on an Andrew Lloyd Webber idea, so i think it's a good show for anyone(even if one doesn't know much about Bollywood). Anyhow, i hope you enjoy it as much as i.

I didn't think it would have big names...just trying to figure out why the cast still hasn't been announced?

Yeah that's what I want to know too. Even if they couldn't put the cast list they could at least post pictures, venues, etc.

Something, ANYTHING! It's like waiting till the last minute. That made me think they were negotiating for a BIG Star. Ya never know!
