I thought it might be fun to gather a list of actors who've exposed some skin on the Broadway stage. Help me add to my very meager list by listing the actor, the show and the exposed body part(s):
Adam Pascal - Aida - chest, feet Adam Pascal - Cabaret - chest Alan Cumming - Cabaret - chest Neil Patrick Harris - Cabaret - chest John Stamos - Cabaret - chest John Stamos - Nine - feet Antonia Bandares - Nine - feet Kathleen Turner - The Graduate - full body Davis Gaines - Company - Chest Dean Jones - Company - Chest Marin Mazzie - Passion - Chest Michael Ball - Aspects of Love - Chest Yul Brynner - The King & I Nathan Lane - Love! Valour! Compassion! - Butt Princeton & Kate Monster - Avenue Q - Chests
The truly beautiful should be lawfully restricted from wearing clothing; and the truly butt-ugly should be lawfully mandated from going naked.
kelli o'hara full body dracula tom hewit chest dracula mellisa errico breasts dracula john hill chest and legs (he was in his underwear) Bare Matthew C Hall chest and ass Cabaret Alan Cumming chest and ass Cabaret
"Judy Garland, Jimmy Dean, You tragedy Queen" ~ Taboo
"Watching a frat boy realize just what he put his d!ck in...ex's getting std's...schadenfruede" ~ Ave Q
"when dangers near, exploit their fear" ~ Reefer Madness the Musical
You must have seen PASSION on video. On stage, Marin exposed every single inch as she got out of bed and walked across the stage to get her robe. Jere Shea did full frontal also.
Add the entire cast of LOVE! VALOUR! COMPASSION! - some full frontal, some rear only.
Donna Murphy was nude in PRIVATES ON PARADE, along with several male cast members.
Idina Menzel mooned the audience every night in RENT, and flashed her boobs on ocassion.
Hey, I like lack of clothing on Adam Pascal as much as anyone, but why is this thread important? That said, because I'm nice and know too much, I will also remind you that he showed some definite skin in the backside area for Cabaret, as did everyone else who played Emcee.
As in any which way you look at it. It was kind of awkward, but definitely done tastefully. His character was being examined by a doctor, who was doing a preliminary exam for AIDS or any related STD's. He did a good portion of the scene in just his underwear, and as part of the exam the doctor removed it for a couple of seconds. Nothing major, really.
I think I should refrain from discussing this.... but you know that's not what I meant.
I know you were kidding, but for the sake of self-defense, by "nothing major," all I meant was that it wasn't a big scene, and it's not like he was prancing around naked just for the hell of setting some hormones into overdrive. Obviously it was very serious. I'll decline to comment publically on what else that statement could've been read as, thank you. He's gotten enough comments on it.
I know this wasn't on stage, but Patrick Wilson showed his butt and his n*ts in HBO's "Angels in America." Anybody else disappointed that he didn't turn around?
When I saw Dorian in LA with Max Von Essen, he was butt naked - it wasn't frontal though, and the posing was for covering up his....private area....but I was sitting at the very top, with a diagonal angle...
