Well Doubt's drop was to be expected with Eileen Atkins being out the whole week. But it's less than I expected. Other than that it's actually quite a strong showing for the middle of January.
The dropoff for The Producers just continues, doesn't it?
I love how the numbers for Sweeney keep going up.
WIW no longer as a negative % difference
... saaweet
So much for the winter slump. These numbers are a lot better than I expected for this time of year (especially for Chita's show).

Looks like the movie is not really helping The Producers. But Rent is still doing very well.
I think we can say Sweeney is a HIT for sure.
Nice to see Chita improve a little. She's not doing too bad.

I hope the trend for WIW continues, YayJudyYayJudy
Hey, your avatar is from RAGE OF THE HEART, isn't it - do you have this album ? It's one of the cult Michael Ball albums - too bad this musical was never produced on stage at the West End. The theme is very interesting (the love story of the star-crossed lovers, Peter Abelard and Heloise) and the music is quite good. Some great solos for Michael as Peter!
YES, Jo, it is!
I unfortunetely do not have the album, I've only heard clips off their website... but just based on those and this picture alone, I am a HUGE fan!

ok, we're done- continue... How bout them grosses, huh!?
I'm glad that WiW is slowly picking up. Maybe it won't close soon.
Go WiW! :)
I can't believe Rent is still beating Spamalot in capacity percentages.
Yay for Sweeney!

Great to see Sweeney up there. Now if they can just keep it up for about a year and a half so I can see it next summer. Not holding my breath, but am crossing my fingers.
That's awesome that Rent is doing so well. Oversold for three weeks in a row. I hope this continues.
It is really great that both Sweeney and WIW are showing improvment. I love them both and hope they can stay for a while.
It is especially good for WIW, as everyone was concerned after its poor performance in December. I think the show has potential to do well; hopefully it will get some word of mouth help. After all, it was a relative unknown coming in to NY.

Guess RENT will be sticking around for a while. I think the whole Lane/Broderick hype killed the Producers, itll never live up to that because they were hyped up so much. Good to know WiW and Sweeney are doing good. I hope hope hope Sweeney tours!
