Should we be concerned about Just In Time
dropping from 103.37% sold to 102.81%?

I'd expect a closing notice within two weeks
[also sarcasm :)]
Should Six be looking into off-Broadway houses? That number is awful
Is there a reason "Hamilton" isn't included?
SIX just yesterday put a new block of tickets on sale through July, so it appears they’re at least trying to keep their Broadway run going.
Happy trails to Gracie Lawrence at the aforementioned JUST IN TIME.

Do you think Six would try stunt casting? Maybe they have something brewing
I’m fascinated by the drop in “The Outsiders”. Was Brody really that much of a draw for the show?
And “Oh, Mary” showing that it can run just fine (for now) without a “Star”, is awesome.

Brody called out so much - can't imagine he was the box office draw.
Maybe the on sale dates sold well while he was in it - once they extended (regardless of cast) sales have slowed. This was never gonna be a 10 year run hit.
Oh Mary might be!

I don’t think it’s as much Brody as it is the fact the national tour just launched. (It officially opens tomorrow, in Tulsa.) People may now be waiting for it to come to their city.
Kudos to Hannah Solow for raking in almost $1 million at Oh, Mary!

That’s a good point about the tour, I hadn’t even thought of that.
Brody was barely in the show over the Summer and only three times in September, so it has nothing to do with him. School just started a month ago so kids are busy, and the book is typically read in the Fall, while the school trips to see the show start in the Spring.
Chill.
Nobody needs to chill here but you. People are having a completely calm and civil discussion about the possible reasons for the drop and the timing of things in relation to it. Get a grip.
For OH, MARY, they also scaled back prices to a non-star casting level, so those who previously were priced out or shut out due to sitting on their hands waiting for a discount got a chance to spend in their range. WOM for Hannah has also been great from her past performances and she’s been hitting the interview circuit and using social media to her advantage. At this juncture, the fact they trusted her to helm the ship in between stars and it not having much of an impact on their bottom line, I think Hannah (having already been the Mary standby since the very beginning) is set for a very secure job.
I’ve also noticed over the past few years that, if the ATP of any commercial run show is under $100 for a consistent period of time, not in conjunction with any initiatives like Broadway Week, that it should be cause for concern. Iglehart has about a month left in his run as Lance, so if &J wants to goose up their sales, they should announce the next person, especially if they got a big star for a holiday run.
I think the current shows on life support are Hell’s Kitchen, Gatsby, and Stranger Things. However, in the case of Gatsby, they still haven’t announced McCartan’s replacement which…what are they waiting for? And of course, ST is being kept alive by the canyon-deep pockets of Netflix.
HK is the only show that has no exciting prospects on the horizon. While they are getting Tank for 12 performances over Thanksgiving, that’s basically a bandage on a gaping wound. Christopher Jackson has also had horrific attendance and he is enough of a draw that people are upset/try to refund when he is out. I think they are bound to fold in January.

I know it's only been a week, but wow Ragtime. Can it keep up? Why is this time so different than the past productions?

There are a number of well known performers in the cast that draw from all areas of theatre fandom, and the production was already a critical darling at NYCC. The last revival had the misfortune of opening during the recession and was only about 9 years after the original production had closed.

A short run, top talent, excellent marketing, and few musical options for the Fall. I am so happy for them and all the awards this will earn.
I have to give the Oh Mary team kudos for elevating and promoting Solow for her run (and they’ve consistently done so whenever she’s go on, as well!). They’ve treated her as a de facto replacement for these couple weeks.

Her finally getting her own official Mary portrait and marquee display, not to mention MERCH, made me so friggin happy.
This may be an unpopular take, but I can't help notice that Chicago had the lowest house capacity this week (66.4%) and the third lowest total gross ($598K) this week. And last week was even worse, barely getting $500K.
I've never been a fan of this production myself - I've seen it twice, but my last visit was almost a decade ago. And they can't be turning much of a profit, if any, on a $500-600K gross each week.
I know it's the current longest running show on Broadway, and the producers have (almost) nothing to lose at this point.
The only milestone they have left would be to overtake Phantom as the longest running show of all time, but that title would mean they still have to run another six years.
So I'm curious: what would it seriously take for Chicago to close at the Ambassador?

Hey Sutton, see anything unusual in Audra 's lobby lately? I know you spend an awful lot of time there.

Another show wanting the theater and being okay with how awful the backstage area is?

I think we would need to see a very extended period of time with these numbers- like a year or more- before the Weisslers even consider throwing in the towel. Remember, it was only last year the production broke its box office records. If they feel they can secure replacements who can get those highs again, it'll be kept running.
Looking at the full line graph of Chicago's grosses going back to the start, the average has been remarkably steady over time, though. 30 years at this point and it's not trending downward much at all.
