Wow. That's a pretty rough week overall.
It looks like neither Rocky nor Bridges are going to enjoy popular success despite their critical drubbing.

Despite?
I think "Rocky" is going to do just fine. $800,000 is pretty good for a show. Once it comes summer time, I wouldn't be surprised to see if they made it to $1,000,000.
It happens - and I think there were many who happened it would happen for these shows as well.
I'm actually surprised at how badly Gentleman's Guide is doing. I mean, this has been mentioned by many here as a front runner for the Tony.
Yes, but the same thing could be said about Bridges...

If you think last week was bad wait until you see next week. Passover begins next Monday and that is historically one of the slowest weeks of the year on Broadway.

$800,000 is good for a show like Once, but not so much for a huge spectacle like Rocky. And far from what anyone would call a hit.

Ive a feeling Rocky may go downwards as opposed to up sadly...

Rocky has been struggling for weeks.
I doubt Gentleman's Guide is a very expensive show to put on: only 11 cast members and a small orchestra. GGLAM has also been running for about 6 months now.
Rocky seems like it's having a much harder time considering the size of the production.

Ms. Williams hasn't been in the show for a whole week yet. Lets atleast wait until she's in for a whole week.
Wow... I hope "Mothers and Sons" gets better box office soon.
I'm sure the producers of Gentleman's Guide are holding out at least until the Tonys are over since they're a strong contender for the major awards. Hopefully they'll be able to stick around for a while longer, the show really is great.
next week is spring break for many schools even though its Passover.

This is a year where the Tony is going to mean something because it's a real toss up. Every show got mixed reviews (I'm assuming Bullets will also get mixed notices)and only Aladdin If/Then and Beautiful have been able to show muscle at the box office.
Memphis ran for years on grosses worse than what Rocky has put up so far. Once had the same lackluster grosses until it won the Tony. Last year Matilda and Boots Motown were solid from the first preview . The Tony put Kinky Boots in the mega hit stratosphere.
The nominations will thin the herd the awards will kill more off.
Every show got mixed reviews
That's probably the lowest numbers for Once. Hopefully they'll pick up for the spring shortly.

But Rocky's is a much more of an elaborate show than Memphis, and likely has higher running costs.
Bridges is in serious trouble.

Not to sure about this...it's also Easter week and I imagine NY will have a steady stream of tourists then entire week. Not to say that they'll see Bridges or Guide, but they'll likely boost attendance.

Once has been declining for a while, I wouldn't be surprised if it closes in 2015.
