Thanks, carymetorent. I knew he looked familiar but I wasn't sure why.
Elton - I guess you're asking if he left yet. His last day is next Sunday.

Awesome, bwaydreamer! I am seeing High Fidelity at night, but I may be around :-P
Richard Blake is definitely greater than Chuck Norris. But even if you disagree, it's still funny.
Very cute, Pat. I like it.
I agree. Richard is definitely greater than Chuck Norris.
haha, off topic, but i had a Wedding Singer moment today! i was in language arts class and we were doing some literary elements worksheets (gag me!) and one of the words we had to use was 'metaphor' so, all i got stuck in my head for the rest of that 40-minute class was "Come Out of the Dumpster"
Haha, that's funny. The littlest things can ge ta song stuck in my head.

TWSFan4Ever - No joke that happened to me in Language Arts too. We need 3 books and we need to write down literary elements from each of them and so we were getting explanations of every literary element. Metaphor came up and I started singing Come Out of The Dumpster! Weird.
haha, LOVE the new avatars dancing and pat!
ad let me just say, i cant tell u how many times i have had that same mataphor ws moment! lol.
haha, and i was in Michael's the other day getting stuff for a project and there's this company called "Sanger" so i thought of "Spanger" so i started singing "Saturday Night in the City"!
My Wedding Singer moment: My friend reminded to bring something to school ( I don't remember what). I told her I wouldn't forget it, and she just looked at me. So I went, "All right, I probably will!" (Amy style). Then it made me laugh, and I was the only one who knew why.
wow, i JUST had a ws moment!! i was listening to the radio on my computer, and there was a commercial for "A Touch Of Class" limos. lol. hmm, i wonder what came to my mind!
haha, gotta love our Wedding Singer moment

my WEDDING SINGER moment is a bit dirty, if you might say
well my sister, her friend, and i were playing truth or dare. so a few things happened. i dared my sister and her friend to kiss, and they didnt want to, so i was like "I need to make an educated decision!" also, then i was dared to make out with my sister's friend, so i did, and she was like "okay, don't stick your tongue down my throat." and i was like "yeah, not porno tongue, church tongue."
my sister knew what i was talking about :)
yeah, that is my WEDDING SINGER moment from 11:30 last night!
I saw Robyn go on as Holly last night and thought she was very good - I didn't know what to expect but her vocals were pretty strong and she was very confident in the role. None of the people around me could tell she was the understudy and were suprised when they finally figured it out.
aww, yay for robyn! she did a great job when i saw her just in cara's track and if i wasnt so familiar with the show, i would have never known she was new. she is one person though that have yet to meet!

I saw her (Robyn) last night too, and thought she did a great job! Even if she did miss the water, haha.....
Chalk it up to it being a Tuesday night, but there was definitely something missing. Energy, mainly, though it did pick up in Act II. But the audience was pretty dead. I've never seen the show before without Amy, and it did make a huge difference last night with her not being there, though Robyn did awesomely (not a word, but okay, :)). Does anyone know if these absences were scheduled? j/w.
Funny things I noticed:
-I'd never seen J. Elaine Marcos throw the cat offstage during "Casualty of Love." She threw it and then looked a little horrified; I almost died. Also, David Josefsberg was making the most ridiculous noises during the dance- grunts, yells, screeches. I was so confused.
-Laura continued miming "hari-kari" with the fork after that verse while Glen's dialogue enters. Hilarious. I was the only one who laughed, but that's okay. She also raised the roof, just a little bit, with the "Yaaay" engagement line.
-Stephen finally spit on me. I was waiting for it to happen...it's pretty inevitable in the front row, I feel. At the very beginning of Act II w/Dream Holly. I jerked back and the girls next to me died laughing, as they saw the trajectory of the spittle.
-At the beginning when Robbie and Julia meet, with the keyboard sound, Laura looked straight at Stephen and kept mouthing "So cold. So cold. So cold." Which I thought was hilarious (and highly out-of-place, not in the moment at all), as it was freakishly cold. Didn't think much of it, as I thought that maybe I was lip-reading wrong, until in "Grow Old With You" when Robbie sings, "Give you my coat when you are cold" Laura was like, "I'm cold." Out-of-control.
LeaGirl can attest to this, there were some cookoo-crazy things going on last night on stage! Just in general.
Last post for a while; headed home to FL and the world of dial-up modems. Ouch. Happy thanksgiving everyone!
I felt like Stephen was... late on his lines last night. Not off, just late. He kept slowing scenes down. And Laura would look at him like "hello, moving on..." or she'd just go on and say her line. There was a weird line flub last night but I don't remember what it was - but it was Laura covering for Stephen who either hadn't said something or had said something wrong. It was right after "Today You Are A Man"
Things picked up a bit in act II.
hahaha, wow, that cold incident is hilarious! i dont know why, but that cracked me up reading it! its the little moments in this show that are amazing! and yea! ive noticed J. Elaine Marcos throw the cat off!! haha. SOOOO funny!

Laura got a new gig. A pilot for ABC. She plays the single mother of an autistic son. The show is called Eli Stone, about a lawyer who discovers he's a prophet.
AHHHHH!! YAY!!! GO LAURA! lol, i cant wait! so im gonna assume this would start in the fall?
anyone going to the show today?

It's just a pilot. If it gets picked up, it would most-likely start, as you said, in the fall.
Regarding Amy--has anyone ever see her husband, Michael C. Hall at a performance?
