God, what a waste.

At least hire a name replacement. I'll take Hillary Duff over Constantine Maroulis. At least she'd sell tickets.

I guess we know what I'm seeing tomorrow. I'll ask around. See what the actors know.

I don't see a reason why they would replace Matthew Saldivar, he does a fine job with the role of Sammy. To be honest, I don't think any replacement of any role could save this show, especially by a second rate American Idol performer.

He sucks. Plain and simple. This is shouldn't even be considered stunt casting. It would have made sense like right after American Idol ended, but not now.

I'm not excited about this, but this might MODERATELY sell more tickets. I know a couple people who are still in love with him.

Still...I never thought i'd actually WANT someone to be stunt casted so badly. I just want the show to stay open for longer.

I know nothing about the date. We have a mutual friend. I heard all about the audition process, so I know it is true. Obviously they wouldnt announce it on TRL if it wasn't.

As much as I hate people who come on this site with their "inside sources". I know for a fact that he will be playing Sammy. And if you're skeptical about how or why I know, feel free to pm me, but I don't feel comfortable revealing how I know on this site.

It's sad because I'm pretty sure Matthew Saldivar had no intentions of leaving the role and he gives an amazing performance as Sammy. Constantine (sp?) will be joining in 2 weeks and Matthew is out all this week, so if you want to see him you should hurry up and go next week.

I really liked Matt as Sammy, I can't imagine C.M. being as funny. He doesn't seem like he has such a great sense of humor.

So here's a question....wouldn't it be cheaper to close the show rather than pay off Saldivar's contract and pay Constantine's?

That is SO unfair!! I mean, I dont even hate constantine but Matt is GREAT!! and there's no reason to replace him unless its gonna be someone who can bring in a LOT of ticket sales. And.. Constantine is NOT going to bring in that many ticket sales. maaaaybe a FEW. if that. But NOT anything significant enough to make a difference. God, this would be SUCH good news if it were someone who is gonna help the show out.. but because its not thats just rediculous.. AND unfair to Matt

If Constantine couldn't pull off Roger, what makes people think he could pull off Sammy?
