It’s also up on Spotify.
Will be listening to “A Stranger” on repeat a lot today, I suspect.

Thrilled to see this so soon. Would’ve loved to see Shot a Man in Kansas in this as well but glad we got something.
Any news on when the rest of it will arrive? I really hate the new trend of cast recordings coming out in dribs and drabs.
Looks like the entire musical will be released on Audible October 2.
Actually, now that I look at the tracklist, this is the same set of songs they performed at their press/launch concert event last month.
Having just seen the show Wednesday afternoon, I was rarin' to listen. I think "Normal" is classic Yazbek, and wonderful. "Something from Nothing" is infectious, with an almost Pete Townshend vibe.

They intend to postpone this release if the show is still running on Broadway (for obvious reasons).
Ballad, Normal, Up to the Stars and especially A Stranger are all on repeat today. It feels like I waited an eternity to hear these again.
Loving this so far! This is unlike anything Yazbek has ever written.
When this ran downtown, one critic said that the opening ballad may as well be called “Oh, What a Beautiful Evenin’.” With its simple melody, slight twang, and praise for the natural world, who am I to disagree?
“Dead” might be one of the earworms of the season (that guitar riff is irresistible!), and “Up to the Stars” has the makings of a cabaret favorite.
This is fantastic! The Best Score of the season. Operation Mincemeat has an infectious one too! -- some good scores this season.
I waited and waited for this and maybe it's me, but these tracks lack a certain spark, a certain grit to my ear. Maybe that energy can only be captured in a live performance. Guess I'll have to go, again. Poor me.
