As a fan of both, I'm so happy this finally happened! Also, if Death Becomes Her does get nominated for Best Musical, it would be fun to have her present their performance.

Obscure question … does anyone know why Nick Alvino joined the show and left it within a few weeks?

Neil Haskell got injured about two months ago. The swings covered his track until Nick was fully rehearsed. I'm guessing Neil will be back this week then.

It's not their fault they're from Ohio....

Ridiculous. And odds appear to be likely that Hilty and Simard continue their tradition of being out for a Wednesday matinee.
Is she? The IG page that posts who's out hasn't. And neither Dee, Natalie or Kaleigh has posted that they're on.

There was a banner on BroadwayDirect this afternoon that said she was out this evening.

might be false info unless it's supposed to be for tomorrow. https://understudies.org/ doesn't have any as out and they're typically accurate with Death Becomes Her.

BroadwayDirect is the show's official ticket seller, owned by Nederlander, which owns the Lunt-Fontanne, and is linked to on the show's official website. While something may have changed and she could have gone on after all, it has always had absences first, and is certainly more connected to the show than the fan-sourced understudies.org
Confirmed that Hilty was out last night. Kaleigh Cronin was on as Madeline. Apparently Dee Roscioli injured her finger in last Wednesday's matinee and couldn't go on. Let's see if either Simard or Hilty are out today.

Hoping to buy tickets before the Tony nominations but am struggling to figure out which day may be my best shot to have both Jennifer Simard and Megan Hilty in. Will be visiting NYC May 12-20th. I know not to go on a Wednesday as they both seem to be out a lot on double show days. That said, is there a day that is more likely to have them both in?

I went to a Wednesday matinee last month and they were both in, go figure. My hunch is that all principal actors will make extra effort to be in attendance while Tony voters are checking out as many shows as they can.
Tonight’s wedding was “brought to you by American Express, the official sponsor of the Tony Awards.”
Has anyone kept up with what Smiard improvises for the last line of the show every night as Madeline and Helen make their last exit? ("What do you wanna do tomorrow, Mad?" "I don't care, what do you wanna do, Hel?") The night I saw it (which was the final night of previews) she answered "I dunno, open a broadway show?" and a friend told me that on the night they saw it the last joke was "I dunno...Arby's?"

Tonight it was, “I don’t know, go shopping for dresses for the Tony Awards?”
Super fun show tonight. This was my second time seeing it, and I remain impressed with both leading ladies as well as all of the top notch design elements this show has.
Dee Roscioli is going on (for Madeline) at tomorrow’s matinee.
Didn’t know where to post, but anyone have any thoughts on weather to see this or Dead Outlaw? Have only one slot open on my next trip and would appreciate any thoughts for those who have seen both.

That's a tough call as I thoroughly enjoyed both shows for very different reasons. If you are looking for a big splashy musical comedy with great design elements, I say Death Becomes Her. If you are looking for something more intimate, unique, and off the beaten path, I'd say Dead Outlaw.
Tickets are now on sale through April 2026. The question then becomes, do either Hilty, Simard or Williams extend past a year with the show?
