DBH fans are getting up there with Six, Outsider & Hamilton fans in becoming totally annoying. The rush/SRO line this morning saw countless line cutters and several arguments broke out. There really should have been security there today to deal with this.
Expect their terrible attendance to continue all through the Winter season. Jennifer is taking the week off but I'm not sure how long she will be staying with the production afterwards.

Surprised Williams hasn't left yet. Wouldn't be surprised if all three are gone by April.

THIS! I see some posts on twitter/X and it is embarrassing. ParticularIy asking Megan Hilty what I would consider to be inappropriate/personal questions on Cameo and then bragging/dissecting what her responses are. One instance involved bringing up Shoshana Bean and when Hilty responds politely and appropriately, they dissected what she said/how she responds and reading into everything.
I miss when stage dooring was a niche experience that felt very much like "if you know, you know" kind of experience. It wasn't a cluster fug and everyone was respectful. It felt like there was a general understanding that you could go to the stage door and maybe see your favorite performer, but the vibe felt supportive. Now it feels toxic and people are expecting like they deserve direct attention from the performer. I wouldn't be able to handle that situation gracefully. That's why when I happen to meet someone, I try really hard to not ask for much, maybe a signature, but I can't imagine many people would want to pose for a photo op after just working their asses off. I wonder if there will ever be a time when the experience will disappear all together because it is becoming unsafe for people.

I was watching Las Culturistas and Jinx Monsoon was a guest. She loves Death Becomes Her the movie and musical. Seems like a shoo-in for the Simard role after her First h Mary stint.

Jinkx also has the West Ends production of “End of the the Rainbow” through June

I hope so!!!
Act I Summary:
- Dee is on as Helen
- Kyle is on as Chagall (and, frankly, he’s terrible). There is zero sense of menace and mystery and he queens up like Frank N Furter in Rocky’s body.
- Wedding sponsor was Safelite
- 30 second applause when curtain went up for For The Gaze. Megan is clearly moved but she is also a pro at making the gestures to keep the show moving.
- Standing ovation after “Falling Apart”
Act II -
- I couldn’t hear the “What do you want to do now?” because the crowd was too loud.
- Josh Lamon gave her flowers and a lovely speech and Megan was visibly crying.
Congrats on a fabulous run, Megan. It’s been a thrill to have you back on Broadway.
Apparently, Dee’s Hel wanted to “get a drink” tomorrow with Mad, quizking.
I’d love to see Megan and Jennifer sing through WAR PAINT for a one-night-only concert somewhere down the line.
I wish they would restage that final joke because the fandom has been getting too loud. I missed it the last three times I went because the audience is in a tizzy after that last note

Just curious… does anybody know the last time all four (4) leads were on together before Megan’s departure?

It would probably be at least one day during the holiday week. Their schedule was 4 two show days - so odds are at least one of them were all together. Without Understudies.org to cross reference (and they also still use paper cast slips for covers), it’s hard to be certain.

I’m fairly certain that once Megan returned from medical leave, attendance across the cast was pretty consistent, aside from Megan’s scheduled Tuesday nights off.
As others have mentioned, the holiday performance schedule was especially punishing (six shows in three days). If I’m remembering correctly, both Megan and Jennifer each sat out three performances that week, though I’m happy to be corrected if I have that wrong.

Most likely January 4th
I attended the January 3rd evening show and Michelle wasn’t there.

I believe when she returned from leave that her new schedule was no Tuesday nights, and then out both Wednesday/Saturday matinees as well.

I was there January 4th (after multiple ticket refunds and repurchases) and although it was Megan and Jennifer’s last performance, Sieber and Williams were both out. 😭

There was only one show January 4th?
it might be January 3rd matinee if Michele was in 😂

Negative… because Megan only did Sunday matinees, lol. I was genuinely just curious, but it’s almost a bit comical if we’re being honest. I know the schedule can be grueling, but I really thought all of the leads would have been on for their last show together on January 4th (before Simard went on vacation).

I’m about 99% sure Michelle Williams and Chris Sieber were both sick for Megan and Jennifer's last show together.

Ohh right I remember Megan was scheduled out Jan 3rd matinee (which is why I saw the evening show).
It could’ve been that Friday night then (there were two shows that day). I know all were in on January 1st.

Break legs to Betsy Wolfe tonight on her debut as Madeline! I can’t wait to see what she does with the role.
If anyone’s there tonight, please report back!

Betsy is also hosting a Broadway.com vlog series “Death Becomes Betsy” - first episode has been posted!
“When you’re watching this, it’s going to be when I’m onstage for the first time! I’m sure I’m not forgetting anything, I’m sure I’m standing where I’m supposed to stand and hopefully singing what I’m supposed to sing.”
