Dear god, please let Legally Blond lose.
Cosette: Roses are red.
Marius: Violets are blue.
Eponine: You're so in love!
Marius: And so not with you.

SA for lyrics
"If this is going to be a Christian nation that doesn't help the poor, either we have to pretend that Jesus was just as selfish as we are, or we've got to acknowledge that He commanded us to love the poor and serve the needy without condition and then admit that we just don't want to do it." -Stephen Colbert

SA for lyrics? Are you kidding me?
I am a firm believer in serendipity- all the random pieces coming together in one wonderful moment, when suddenly you see what their purpose was all along.

Hurrah for SPRING AWAKENING!
Julian, it's not about not respecting the work. Sorry if it came out that way.

I didn't just scream like crazy. Of course not.
Even though the lyrics aren't even the best in the show.

This us another one that wasns't deserved. It deserves music, not lyrics. This one should have gone to In the Heights or Martin Short.

And SA begins a sweep in which innocent shows shall be slaughtered like lambs.

I disagree, Katurian. I think the lyrics suck.

Yay! I'm not surprised.
This man deserves a million lyric nominations for writing the lyrics of the song that has spoken me more than any other song, "All that's Known."
Slater's lyrics comes second to Sondheim in my book for brilliance. He doesn't keep it up in all songs, but for the songs that he gets going on, they're amazing.
