Quick Question: When you search for these randomly released tickets on Telecharge, are you just looking at a specific date, or a range of dates?

Also, off topic: why are these tickets released in the first place? I am not complaining - just curious!

And, lastly: I completely agree about the monstrosity of reselling these tickets! I released a ticket from this past Wednesday in the hopes that someone like me would have their day made to see this show at the box office price (my sister was out of town and could not attend the show). Happily, I did not see it resold on StubHub! .

@CT2NYC: What you are doing is amazing! Seeing this show changed my life, both from a theatrical and personal standpoint, and I am excited that other enthusiasts are able to see it as well!

I search for a specific date, on the app only. The seats they release are unsold wheelchair companion, tranfer arm (seats with armrests that lift up for better accessibility), and transer arm companion seats. Wheelchairs are allowed 3 companions, and transfer arm patrons are allowed 1. Many times, these seats are unsold, but they're held back until the last minute, hence the 4-day trick.

Excessive searching only becomes a problem is when it's done from multiple devices on the same Wi-Fi network at the same time. At that point, the ticketing system will flag you. I learned that lesson a couple of weeks ago, so now I just use the app on my phone to search.

CT2NYC- you seem to be the DEH expert! I'm flying in to NYC from Florida with a friend on November 10th and really want to see Ben before he leaves... The show means so much to both of us and our entire trip to NYC has been planned around this. Since we want to see Ben specifically, this leaves the Friday 11/10 evening show and Saturday 11/11 evening show. Any tips for securing tickets? Cheapest pair of seats on stubhub right now is about $650 per ticket before fees and we don't want to pay that much Dear Evan Hansen - Cancellation Line/Lottery/Ticketing Questions we are just college students! We have been thinking about paying the line sitter people to get cancellation tickets (since we don't want to spend our break from university waiting in a line all day) but we aren't sure how legit those services are/the likelihood that they'll get tickets.

Any suggestions on getting tickets? Or know of anyone personally who may be selling them? We are willing to spend up to $500 or so per ticket! Though ideally would love to pay face value, lol! Thank you so much :)

I'm not going to lie, it'll be really difficult to find tickets for those days. If, somehow, you could change your trip to the 9th, the reseller prices are much better. TickPick, which is StubHub without the fees, has a bunch of tickets for around $500 total, $489 being the lowest. I wish I could give you hope of scoring regularly-priced tickets, but, I'm not sure how likely that is to happen.

I was willing to do anything two weeks ago (for 10/07 evening performance) and I had a plan to keep checking Stubhub for decreases in ticket prices, join the cancellation line when I arrived in NY, anything. Primarily I kept checking telecharge all day throughout work and I was beginning to think I would have to stay out all night when I managed to find a ticket the night before at the last minute. Just keep checking Telecharge constantly for your dates, tickets do come up and I was willing to pay premium price as you are and it is totally worth it. Finally when I had gone through all that I was second in line that night and I walked in to the theater and nobody else had entered yet and Rachel Bay Jones ran past me and I was like best day ever!!

Keep checking everything and you will find a way to get a ticket - assess your options each day and last resort - queue all night!!

Some tickets are available on Telecharge now for 11/9, 11/10, and 11/11. All premium $450. One seat each day.

Hi all!  I was able to get 5 seats for my family and saw DEH last night!  ( I posted earlier about my house flooding and taking kids to NYC)  Here's what I did:

I was able to snag 3 single seats using the 4 day rule. We needed the Thurs night show so I searched on Sun.  I was afraid to release the single seat to go back and look for 2 seats.  We were in Michigan visiting family, I got one early around noon- Mezanine, row K, seat 4, $149.  Then one right after at 12:12- Orchestra row K, seat 24, $213.  I kept searching and at 3:53 snagged 1 premium seat, orchestra row B, seat 103, cost $439.  I did have trouble with telecharge locking me out- it locked out everyone's phones so frustrating. Then, I needed a pair of seats together because I didn't want my 9 yr old by herself.  I hired the "Line Dudes" to sit in the cancellation line.  Their cost for 2 tixs is $395 per tix which comes to $20/hr for 18 hrs plus ticket price.  You pay up front and they buy the ticket.  He arrived at 1 am and was #2 in line- if I did again I might pay to have him come a couple hours earlier.  He texted me updates throughout the day.  They gave out 4 standing room only which he passed.  The person in front of him got a pair around 5 pm.  I arrived at the theater around 6:30 and sent 2 of my kids in.  He got called in around 5 mins till and passed the tixs off to me.  4 other people from the cancellation line also got in right after me.  My seats were center orchestra, row G, seats 13 and 14-they were on the aisle on the left.  They were the best of the tixs I bought except for the premium seat which may have been too close for some people.  When I started looking on Stub hub and tick picks the cheapest thing would have been almost $500 each for side Mezzanine seats so I was happy with how it worked out .  This is the service I used I would use them again in a heartbeat: http://www.sameolelinedudes.com/. Only thing is of course the stress of not knowing if you will get it or not but they said their clients usually get a pair.

For anyone who may be interested. I know it’s not Ben but on tickpick there were very reasonable priced tickets available for the Wednesday matinee show a couple of hours before. And then I think at 15 mins before curtain the etickets on there were in the 150 range.

That's awesome! Honestly, I'm shocked that tickets were released were released this far in advance. On 9/21, they released a bunch a non-premium seats for 11/3-11/12. Maybe this is the release of at least some, or all, of the premiums. There are still 2 $450 singles available for Friday, 11/10, and 23 $399-$425 seats available for Sunday, 11/12.

I think the 11/12 lot was due to that date being the original Ben last performance day.

Anyone else think it's crazy that Telecharge is charging $499 for a mezz ticket on 11/24 (after Ben leaves)?

It's holiday pricing for Thanksgiving. They level off a bit the week after, then bump back up right before Christmas.

Crazy! I couldn't bring myself to spend $450 for an amazing orch seat to see Ben... let alone $500 to sit in the mezz for a new actor. Wow!
