YAY!!! I'm so glad someone here got them! I grabbed a couple for my friend and me, but if she can't go, I will pass them along to other friends. I was so excited and knew I had to act fast, so I just bought them without even checking with my friend first!
Currently refreshing telecharge continuously for two tix either wednesday the 8th (8pm) or thursday the 9th.If anyone is releasing any, a heads up would be awesome!! :)
Woah. Just got a ticket for tomorrow night on Telecharge!!! Orchestra Row D!
Thank you, CT2NYC! Never would have thought there was hope for getting tickets without waiting at the theater for hours if it wasn't for you. Not only is there a 4 day trick, folks, there is a "search for tickets at least 20 times a day for weeks and by some miracle you might actually get one the night before" trick!
Best of luck to everyone obsessively trying to see Ben before he ends his run!

I've missed this whole thread and am trying to catch up. But if anyone has any advice on camping out for tickets let me know! I've only waited once and it was 5 hours for final show of book of morman and I got lucky.
I've done it unsuccessfully 3 times and successfully 3 times for DEH. To be successful, go the night before. Bring an inflatable, thermarest, and/or camping chair (I use a camping matress called a thermarest and a foldable camping chair). Bring a sleeping bag and blankets and an umbrella. It will be colder at night than during the day. Bring a battery charger with you. it's best if you have someone to switch with so you can get some sleep during the day and shower. You can leave check bag in the coat room. One time I went alone and got my ticket 5 minutes before showtime. I had to change in the bathroom at the theater and check my bags in the basement. Use the marriott's 8th floor for bathrooms and phone recharging. Use grubhub to get food delivered during the day (but be aware they may deliver it to the stage door). Best of luck!

I probably shouldn't be but I am surprised to say yes- That seems to be the case for Noah Galvin's whole run! Absolutely nothing, wow. Anyway: for Trensch starting late jan there's plenty of rear mezz on various weekdays for $135-149, but there doesn't seem to be any partial view, although they may not of have been up? I'm not seeing any even all the way into some March shows with plenty of other cheaper options still available.

The first time I saw the show, I got my ticket at 9:20 pm the night before. But I have also seen tickets the day of the show on Telecharge. These become available at unpredictable times, because someone can't make the show and calls for a refund. They are premium seats, but still a better deal than StubHub!

Last Friday, when the seats for Ben's last week were released, I looked through every available month, and the partial views were showing up for every performance. They didn't appear to be selling that well, so I was surprised that, when I looked again on Sunday or Monday, they were all gone. I suppose it's possible that they all sold, especially if ticket resellers started buying up most of them. Honestly, though, I would be less shocked if I found out that Telecharge was only supposed to sell those seats for Ben's final week, and, when their mistake was caught, they pulled them out of circulation.

I think moreso that the Music Box Theatre box office got sick-and-tired of the ticket broker around the corner from them sending 20+ workers in person every morning in order to immediately buy just-released partial view seats.

Ok y'all are giving me hope, because I have been trying Telecharge repeatedly to no avail for 2 tickets for this Saturday night or Sunday's matinee. We fly in to NYC early Saturday morning, and I would love to have tickets bought before we get there. If I have to, I'll spend a paycheck through Stub Hub, but that is soo my last option...
Have you tried TickPick - it's similar to StubHub without the fees. I have a ticket for another show from them so I won't be able to comment on them until then.

No I haven't! Thank you for the tip, CarmenA3! I had never heard of TickPick. I love that they don't charge service fees.

It's really tough to predict. The last two weeks or so, the release of seats has been less predictable. I'd be looking today for 4 days out, and then again the day before. But leading up to 11/19, they haven't always kept the same schedule. The folks who have had luck seem to be searching 20 times a day and getting lucky. Here's hoping you find what you're looking for, too!

Sounds like it's been happening a little more often, and weekdays are usually easier, so although there's never a guarantee i'd say it's not hopeless. I would just star checking regularly right now, and keeping an eye on this thread for people holding tickets up until the night before the show. With Rachel out some people may not be looking for that week and instead be holding out for the week after/cancellations from those who have already seen Ben with no interest in seeing the show without her, so here's hoping you have an even better chance! Good luck!

lol! Makes sense! Given how the show has recouped already I wish they just put those as part of the lottery. I always heard you can get those partial view box/frontrow seats only at the box office but they were recently put online. Was it only for November though? If not, then I bet later this month (think Thanksgiving week) they'll release the partial view seats for December online.
