I had no clue that they made a recording of it....where did you find it?
I am only familiar with the one at The CALIFORNIA ADVENTURE!
Oh, I found it on Amazon...maybe it is not out yet and they are currently just putting up the info!
maybe itll come to BROADWAY?!
I don't think anybody would want to see THIS edition of the show because it's 40 min.! lol. The soundtrack has been out for a while. And yes, this is the one @ Calif. Adv.

"maybe itll come to BROADWAY?!"
This is strictly theme-park material and quality.
How does one get the recording?
That's what I am trying to figure out.
Wasn't that mess of a show directed by the MERMAID director?
I heard it sucked big time.
Anyone see it?
You can see lots of clips of it on "that site".

For themepark fair, it's hardly a mess of a show. It's probably the best show Disney has ever presented in one of its parks.
Zambello did direct the show. And actually the whole show is on one clip from "that site".

You should go see Big Band Beat! at Tokyo DisneySea.
But yeah, I think that it's pretty good show for a theme park. (It actually is in an auditorium with cushioned seats, not those outdoor tents)
Yeah I always have to see the show whenever I go, especially since I've seen some of the cast in regional productions. It's so cheesy but enjoyable.
Tobias, did you see the Snow White show? I can't believe I sat through that show...
Anyway, about the CD, I bought it on Main Street in the park and you can get it at the World of Disney. You could call and maybe see if they'd send it to you?
Oddly enough, a while ago I bought and downloaded this album from iTunes. I just checked, however, and now it isn't being sold there anymore. Weird. The song 'To Be Free' sung by the character of Jasmine (originally an instrumental in the animated film) is the main reason I bought this-such a beautiful Menken melody. I know they sell it at the theme parks, but you might want to try one of those crazy Disney fan sites. There are tons of them, and those Disney fanatics seem to know where to find everything!

"those Disney fanatics seem to know where to find everything!"
LOL - ain't that the truth! And they're willing to do almost anything to get what they want
So does anybody know where I can download the soundtrack to this from 4shared.com or something??

I strongly disagree. Have seen Finding Nemo in Animal Kingdom? That is amazing!
Use the shopping service at LaughingPlace.com. I bet you could get it through them. I have the CD. I got it at Disneyland several years ago. It's a good addition to any Disney music collection. Jasmine is played by DeeDee Magno from the MICKEY MOUSE CLUB and former MISS SAIGON star. She sings a song for which Menken wrote the lyrics called "To Be Free," which explains why the very talented Menken uses lyricists.

Tobias, Yeah I was talking to someone who played Aladdin not so long ago and he said that there were talks of closing the show by the end of the year, but he also said that they have talked about closing many times. Oh and you didn't miss anything with Snow White, I was glad it closed.
If Nemo came over that wouldn't be bad except it's another Nemo/Pixar invasion into the parks which is probably what will happen from now on.
Thanks for all the great advice and tips... but thanks to an anonymous donator, I got the soundtrack. Thanks!
I would love this recording as well, so any other info would be great!

Oh...every time I go to California Adventure I have to see this. It's a great big mess of a "show" in a gorgeous custom built theatre.
The theater was not custom built for the show. There was some other show in that theatre before. Vince Rimoldi was in it.

It's original production was this show called "Step in Time" which was just a revue. It was terrible. They decided to rewrite the show, and added a weird fairy godmother. (Eden Espinosa was in it)
Then, because it still was a terrible show, they hired BLAST! to do a mini 40-minute version of the show. It closed to make way for Aladdin.
