Distracting Tony Audience member

Did anyone else find the person in the lower left hand corner of the TV screen incredibly distracting? They were dancing with thier hands during all of the performances.

"If this is going to be a Christian nation that doesn't help the poor, either we have to pretend that Jesus was just as selfish as we are, or we've got to acknowledge that He commanded us to love the poor and serve the needy without condition and then admit that we just don't want to do it." -Stephen Colbert

Yes, because the conductor doesn't sit with the rest of the audience.

Is there live music at the Tonys still?

I remember reading that all the music was pre-recorded, so that debunks the conductor theory.

I noticed that guy. It wasn't really distracting to me, just kind of funny that he was doing all that stuff and the guy next to him was completely motionless.

In the Wedding singer they did this Karate Chop dance move, and the guy in front was mimmiking the same move. It was hilarious.

He was also snapping along to the song from The Pajama Game.

I was amused. re: Distracting Tony Audience member

Did anyone notice that spoiled lil slouching girl in the front row who never clapped?

No, I didn't. Thank god I have it recorded.

I must be really oblivious because I didn't notice anything of the sort... and I'm pissed I didn't catch it!

I seriously thought I was the only person who noticed it. That audience member was boppin' around to all the dances all night. It was driving me CRAZY. Yet on the same note, it was really funny.
