Does anyone have any predictions as to what show may move into the Lunt after DBH closes on June 28?

Yes, I understood Dolly was supposed to be going into August Wilson or St. James. It wouldn't surprise me now if Dolly is being pushed to a Winter 2027 opening, which is unfortunate.  I guess ATG would also have the Al Hirshfeld as well available for Dolly.

I tend to agree that Warriors is going to be announced as the new resident at the Lunt.

I also heard Damn Yankees with Neil Patrick Harris was coming in.. I didn't hear the Julianne Hough news, but that would not be a surprise

I swear to Christ I will never forgive the creative team of Damn Yankees if they force us to endure NPH when Rob McClure is right there. And Julianne Hough after they finally cast a non-white actress in DC?

I think that person may have been using English in a non-literal way to express their disappointment in a casting choice.

NPH is a good get for YANKEES. Wonder how long they have him, though...if he's only in for 9 months (or god forbid 6 months), finding a willing replacement is easier said than done.

I'd be surprised if Julianne Hough does this. The team very specifically wanted to cast a Latina actress in the role for the DC run, and there were lines in the new book alluding to Lola being Latina.

Did the rumor of NPH & Julianne Hough come from Sweaty Oracle?  He posted that yesterday afternoon. So maybe not super reliable.

Rob McClure was wonderful in this and it sucks that he's not continuing, but that's the climate we're in. Producers will be able to raise the capital and secure a theatre with NPH. It would be far more challenging with Rob, even if he'd be far superior in the role. 

The SEC filing for this show states the raise is 18.5 - 21.5 million dollars.
