"All I ask of you is one thing: please don't be cynical. I hate cynicism -- it's my least favorite quality and it doesn't lead anywhere. Nobody in life gets exactly what they thought they were going to get. But if you work really hard and you're kind, amazing things will happen."
Conan O'Brien
"I'm learning to dig deep down inside and find the truth within myself and put that out. I think what we identify with in popular music more than anything else is when someone just shares a truth that we can relate to. That's what I'm searching for in my music." - Ron Bohmer
"I broke the boundaries. It wasn't cool to be in plays- especially if you were in sports & I was in both." - Ashton Kutcher
Actually, I never thought about PLAYING Rod. I have no prior puppet experience, and it seems to me that so far they only allow people who are **** hot to play Rod and Princeton (i.e. J Tart and Barrett Foa) but if the opportunity came along, sure I'd love to play Princeton and Rod. It would be fun. Plus I'd get to play around with my funny voices...
and then randomly: Lucy Harris(J&H) Lilli/Kate (Kiss Me Kate) Carrie (Carousel) Bethronde (Martin Guerre) Kim (Miss Saigon) except I'm not Asian! when they bring Moulin Rouge to Broadway, Satine also when Lord of the Rings comes out either Eowyn or Arwen
Or anything that Kerry Butler or Sutton Foster has played
"It does what a musical's supposed to do. It takes you to another world, and it gives you a little tune to carry with you in your head for when you're feeling blue."
