The date is formatted in the American style is all I'm noting in relation to a transfer.

06.06.2025 would also be UK style no? 6th day of the 6th month in 2025.
And the UK board has been talking about a West End transfer all week, so ... ?

June 6 (06/06) works the same in British and American style, so it could also be a West End transfer.
Regardless, it was a delight on NT Live, so great to hear about future life. Sharon and Ncuti were especially sublime
OH! Thanks for pointing that out. I assumed the British standard would have been YYYY / MM / DD

Im ASSUMING it is for the West End transfer--since they've been looking for investors..and it is NOT likely that Ncuti will transfer with it, since he is linked to BORN WITH TEETH at relatively the same time

It is indeed the West End, Noel Coward Theatre from 18 September. Olly Alexander as Algernon

"Further casting to be announced" seems to suggest the principals may not be transferring. Some on the UK board suggest a couple of them already have other firm commitments. Will be interesting to see who takes on the lead roles. Sharon Clarke as Lady Bracknell added quite a boost to the original staging.

It isn't so much Sharon D Clarke who will be missed in a transfer. Hugh Skinner and Ncuti were marvelous and returned that show to the farce it always had been, as opposed to the verbal satire it has become. But Elizabeth Scanlon's Cecily was OUT OF THIS WORLD GOOD!!!! And she is young, I'd only seen her on TV and film. I don't know what stage experience (Australia?) she has had but I don't think much.

*Eliza Scanlen
Looks like she only has two other professional theatre credits: LORD OF THE FLIES at Sydney Theatre Co, and was a replacement as Mayella Ewell in MOCKINGBIRD on Broadway.
She's a great actor! And looks young for her age (26).

whats the point of transferring this without any of the cast moving with it? seems odd.
