re: Eden as Elphaba in Wicked

you can get clips on her unofficial website (listed below). I actually think she sounds better than Idina on the clips provided on the site. I feel sort of sacreligious even saying it, but I was majorly impressed, and a bit dissapointed that I didn't get a chance to see her.

ps ... i have wicked tickets tomorrow - yay!

Hahaha, I had to revive it because it fit my purpose and I didn't want to create a dupe! I'm going to see her on the 10th which is one of her first dates so I wanted a taste cause I have no patience!

I swore I was not going to see this show again, (Saw the original B'way cast and the touring cast in Denver), but I may just have to revisit it in June when I am there to see Ms. Espinosa. I was lucky enough to see her in Brooklyn twice when it premiered here at the Denver Civic Theatre. And she blew everyone away with her voice.

re: Eden as Elphaba in Wicked

The first time I saw "Wicked", Eden was Elphaba. Idina was out and I was disappointed until I saw Eden. She was absolutely fantastic. Cheno let her have her own bow (after their joint bow) and the audience went nuts.

re: Eden as Elphaba in Wicked

I've been lucky enough to have seen Wicked once with Idina (on B'way) and once with Eden (on tour in SF). I loved both of them as Elphie for different reasons.
I know this shouldn't be the deciding factor, but.. The reason I prefer Eden is because of how kind she was to her fans after the show, when Idina acted like they were an annoyance. And, let me tell you, they *both* had hardcore fans out there.

Eden will build up a song then just power house it. Idina tries to push every note to the table to fast.
