I'm just trying to cycle through which performers Jordan has said he liked in the past and coming up with the answer lol. After Annaleigh, the only person I can think of is Laura Benanti but she hasn't been in the movies. This is more fun than Nancy Drew-ing the All Stars 3 cast on reddit.

If it is who I think it is, then I'm excited. Even if it's not the truest to the character (in terms of age and place in life) Eliza isn't a modern-day 21 year old either. She's lived a rough life no matter how good-natured she is compared to how she could have turned out. I also like the idea of an older Eliza just because the old man/young girl dynamic, though arguably central to the power dynamic of the show as well as the class differences, just reads better for modern day audiences.
