Kennedy Center was supposed to do Legally Blonde and it got postponed, cancelled. So it could be Legally Blonde

Cigarette - Saheem Ali's production of WILD PARTY? (we know that one's happening in 2026 unless plans have changed again...I guess that could also be the nail polish.)

Probably - it was played by a black actress when it was done at Regent's Park in the UK.

Huge agree on the book to Mame. The original novel is a dark comedy about a well intentioned but pathologically immature woman who gets herself constantly in and out of trouble with sex. It’s a much more interesting character than the sweet old lady with a gay man’s soul that the musical creates instead.
The film seemed on the verge of understanding this, casting Lucille Ball in attempt to thread the needle between madcap flapper and sweet mother figure. But they didn’t really stick the landing; book accurate Mame should have Julie Bowen energy.

Do we think the fortune teller one could be Ride the Cyclone? Saw it at the Lortel 10-15 years ago and thought it had potential.

Jasmine Amy Rogers commented 'Looking HARD' under the post on twitter and City Center responded 'There will be a little versatility' . I'm now convinced she'll be playing Elle Woods in Legally Blonde.

I would love to see Big, High Spirits, and several others mentioned...but Legally Blonde? It's not that old, it's never really gone away and is still popular, and the score is fun, but nothing that really needs the Encores treatment. I realize many think they're going to need some more commercial plays after how this year went, but that would still be disappointing.

If they can use the book for “Big” they used in London in 2019 and get a REALLY GOOD cast (a cast so good it can mask some problems that will always be present) I think it could be great.
I will now and forever see anything Jasmine Amy Rogers has her name attached to but please God don’t make me see “Legally Blonde”. I suffered through that London revival a couple years ago and I never want to see it again. But for Jasmine, I absolutely would.
