re: Favorite quote from Dirty Rotten Scoundrels?

wqr, i think the quote is "Jolene as your people say...wow"

but the whole show is brilliant! the whole show should be quoted here.

Well Dre, I wasn't positive he said yah...but wow wouldn't make sense...because they say "yah" during the song...maybe it's a combination of woah and yah?

who's wqr? :-P

Wiicked, sadly I think I've been working on it.

And OMG...I can't believe I never new that aces line...I did what I did when I was little, and just sang words that I never realized didn't make sense:

And though two aces be too blind
They'll never be three of a kind

I don't know I thought it had something to do with two together can have lots of talent? but be blind, and the third helps them overcome?

Yeah, that's bad. I used to think from Natalie Imbruglia's Torn, the lyrics were "lying make-it on the floor"
"If there was a Mount Rushmore for Broadway scores, "West Side Story" would be front and center. It snaps, it crackles it pops! It surges with a roar, its energy and sheer life undiminished by the years" - NYPost reviewer Elisabeth Vincentelli

Freddy: ...don't snore at the opera.
Lawrence: It was Wagner.
Freddy: It was 6 hours! I don't even like to have sex and eat bacon for 6 hours!

or

Andre: They have these big pencils - I dont know"

Best lines in the whole show

Reading these quotes is reminding me how great the show is & how much I need to see it again befor Norb leaves.

The WHOLE song of "Love is My Legs" makes me laugh till my cheeks hurt ( Both sets!)

The other two moments for me- the "ah jeez" Feddie gives when trying to come up with examples in "Nothing is TOO Wonderful"

and the whimper in "Ruffhousen" ( the Nope also breaks me up)

re: Favorite quote from Dirty Rotten Scoundrels?

Wrq (sorry): actually, i meant to write "Woah." not wow.

also, I love :

Freddy: We decided, if we won, we would pay off the farm, put Grandma in a home, sell the horses for glue, and just live happily ever after.

love that part.

Freddy: NO! NO! NO! NO! SH*T! Ok, how, in THE hell, did you get off that ship?
Lawrence: Simple, I never got on it.
Freddy: What about those two sailors?
Lawrence: Three sailors Freddy.
Freddy: What do you mean?
Lawrence: I'm a commander of the Royal British Navy Reserve.
Freddy: Wow. Is that you in the hat?
Lawrence: Yeah.
Freddy: Cool hat.
Lawrence: Thanks.
Freddy: Well, you think you got me, don't you? Believe me....
Andre: Pardon.

re: Favorite quote from Dirty Rotten Scoundrels?

like I said before, every single line has something funny about it. Whether it be the content or the way the performer presents it. or what the circumstances are when the perfomer says it. lol. love them all! Jeffery Lane is a comedic genius. he needs to do more work on Broadway.

M - The Prussian butler...
A - and the French maid

re: Favorite quote from Dirty Rotten Scoundrels?

Here's a sad attempt to put together a well thought out line:

Freddy: 'Yeah.. I just can't wait to see the look on her face when she wakes up and finds that brand new leg under the tree'

Yes. That was a really sad attempt.
