I assume that Cooper is wearing brown contact lenses. His eyes are normally a piercing blue.

Of course.  These details are never overlooked - Zellweger wore brown lenses for JUDY and Madonna did as well for EVITA.

The makeup/VFX are great, but so are the angles of the photos –– they obviously showed moments where he looked the most like Bernstein (as we also saw when the first Pam & Tommy pics were released).

Okay. Cooper just shut down the rest of the week.  WTF?!   I was told his blue eyes are being digitally made brown.  He opted to not wear those dark brown contact lenses so relax on the naysayers regarding his blue eyes.

I've already seen a still of him kissing Matt Bomer (I think) so definitely not shying away from "gay stuff."
