I got a mailer today from Lincoln Center, which lists Ella Beatty, Billy Crudup, Levon Hawke, Hamish Linklater and Lily Rabe as in the cast. Take my money!
It feels like Lily hasn’t been on stage in a lifetime, elated to see her back!
Wow. More nepo babies than you could shake a stick at. Tho... that sort of works for Ghosts, I guess.
...weird that we're finding out the casting from a mailer and not a press release. It's not even in any news source.

Here you go
This starts performances next month?! Bizarre...
Really great cast and I love anything Mark O’Rowe is involved in. It is a little odd this has gotten zero promotion and it starts next month tho.
Given how suddenly this starts previews relative to this kind of under-the-radar casting announcement, does anyone else suspect a last-minute dropout from one (or multiple) of the roles?

I was hearing Lily and Hamish with Ethan Hawke over the summer, but maybe my source was confused.

At 42, she seems a little young for Mrs. Alving, but ah well.

Hawke would be quite interesting considering Uma Thurman played Mrs. Alving at Williamstown in 2019 (and was transcendent).

I, too, had heard that Ethan Hawke was attached to this.
