2) Aubin Wise posted that she was taking over Peggy/Maria staring "Late September" (The post has now been deleted, either because that is no longer happening/Samantha is staying longer, or Producers are waiting until the last minute (as usual) to announce replacements.)
Both Ari and Sam seem thrilled their roles, so I personally cannot see either leave, especially Ari, who is not showing any signs of leaving on her social media (starting backstage little shows on IG, collaborating with the cast a lot in her personal music ventures)
I could see Samantha be the 2NT Eliza, as they have put a lot into her learning another lead role (as a principal herself), to just leave it to waste, and playing the role a dozen or so times.

Nope Jose Ramos has been Laurens/Phillip from the start and he's fantastic. A million times better than the OBC Laurens, and on par with Jordan Fisher, though they both had different interpretations.

I was looking at Phillip Schuyler by accident! It's late.... I agree, Jose Ramos is AMAZING.
This is SUPER late, but I saw it on June 27th, with Colby Lewis as Burr and Aubin Wise as Peggy/Maria! Colby was AMAZING. His room where it happens gave me chills. When Aubin started singing in say no to this, my jaw legitimately dropped. She was stunning. It was an amazing experience. I also met Miguel at the stagedoor, and he was super nice! (and short).

Private Bank/Bank of America/LaSalle Bank/Shubert theatre is getting yet another name change! I did of expected this since CIBC bought Private Bank a year ago. The CIBC logo looks incredibly ugly in that design. Why don't they just chase for this? It's like the hometown bank of Chicago or they should just name it the Bank theatre. LOL! Or just forget about naming rights and name it the shubert theatre again. I guess the nederlander owned Broadway in Chicago will go for that, though! https://twitter.com/playbill/status/909818194172481536

According to stage door talk at yesterday's Groundhog Day closing, Andrew Call is joining Hamilton Chicago. Is he the new King George? Seems like a role he would totally rock.

Caught this last night. I am not much of an Alexander Gemignani fan. but I will say he sung his part perfectly and was able to wring more laughs out of each of his numbers than any previous George I have in NYC.
Cervantes as Hamilton was excellent as was Raos as Lafayette. Treco has his moments as Burr, but also was vocally shaky in quite a few spots as was Glover as Angelica and Afsar as Eliza. Perhaps they have colds.
The amount of audience ice crunching from their drinks and paper crinkling noise from eating candy was high throughout the show and a source of a lot of irritation

I was there last night too! Did you hear the cell phone go off when Hamilton is staring down his death? That woman was sitting two seats down from me. Lots of people turned and stared.

Yes. Annoying as all get out. In y section we also had ushers late seating people and kicking people out of their seats for the first 20 minutes or so. Disrupted the entire experience.

Have they announced a replacement for Joseph? If not, I think they should bring Jon Rua in the alternate position.
