Posted: 12/6/19 at 8:43amI am trying to decide if it makes enough of a difference to go from Balcony seats at $50 to a dress circle or very much rear orch seat for 76.50. Thoughts? Doing both parts, obviously. Thanks!

I would probably stick to the dress circle instead of rear orchestra! I was in the last row of the orchestra, and you miss some things because of the overhang. It's fine, but I would've preferred dress circle!

Thanks! Is it worth the upgrade to dress circle from balcony though?

I work in the building and dress circle is my favorite place to watch the show from.

Does anyone know why the Sun June 21 tickets are almost all locked behind an access code? The shows around it aren’t, nor are the other Sundays in June I’m checking. Anyone have the code or know what’s up?
Thanks!

I'm terribly indecisive and can't decide between Orchestra Row U, seat 11 or Dress Circle Row F Seat 119. Any advice? The View from My Seat looks so far back in the Dress Circle.

If this is your first time seeing the show, don't sit in the orchestra under the dress circle overhang. You don't get the full effect of the visuals that occur above the stage and throughout the theatre. Yes, the dress circle is set back a bit, but it's not like you'd be able to see faces that well from orchestra row U anyway.

Do you live in the city? I always wait until the week of the show (and sometimes a day or two in advance) to get the closest, cheapest ticket I can. It mostly works to my favor (if it doesn't, I just wait for another time). Even if I am way off to the side I don't miss anything on the stage.
That said, I avoid the balcony and Mezzanine. They are just too far back for my taste. I would go with row U. You won't miss anything.

Visiting from Chicago otherwise I would absolutely wait until closer but Saturday the 21st is the only day I'd be able to go!

How can you say that? You can't see the ceiling from row U, and you WILL miss anything that happens there. I've seen the show from every level of the theatre, and my 2 favorite seats were the front row of the orchestra and the last row of the balcony.

I'm more of a mezzanine girl myself so I went with the center Dress Circle. For $76.50 a part, I'm sure it'll be worth it!

Excellent choice! When you see what I'm talking about, you won't regret it. If you'd like to see faces more closely, bring a small pair of binoculars.

Has anyone won the Friday Forty lately and can tell me where your seats were? I am going tomorrow and just wondering! Thanks in advance!

Does anyone know where the todaytix special offer seats have been in the theater?

I'm an usher there, and I've mostly seen them pop up in the extreme sides of the orchestra and occasionally in the dress circle.

Thank you! My friend has already seen the show from the balcony, but she wants to see it closer so I was hoping they would be!

Are you talking about the "special offer" if you lose the Friday Forty? I was Orchestra row P or R, a little off to one side but still with a full view of the stage.

Do they email the tickets or do you have to pickup at box office recently?

I got the offer for the week before Christmas last year and had to pick up in person.

Does everyone get the offer for the Friday Forty? How much does it cost?

I lost the Friday Forty 2 or 3 times before getting the offer. It was $59 plus fees, I think.

Thank you! I got the offer and bought them this time around...I guess we'll find out day-of where the seats are. Will still need to buy 2 more tix for the others in my party, so it saved us a little $$. More to spend on dinner after!
