I like the idea of Audra as Grace. I would love to see Debra Monk as Hannigan.
I wouldn't mind if Annie came back. I wouldn't have to see it, but, every kid should see annie live once in their life.
And I love the idea of Beth Leaval as Hannigan.
Hah now that Liza is all burnt out and boozy she might make and interesting Hannigan.
I've said it many, many times. I want Megan Mullally for Ms. Hannigan. Megan could put a whole new twist on the character. Beth Level would be great too.
both of them would be great, singtopher.
I think the last film cast (Victor Garber as Warbucks, Kathy Bates as Hannigan, Audra McDonald as Grace, etc.) would be perfect for a revival. They were all spectacular IMO.
Lily - Amy Spanger
That would be too perfect.
I thought the new movie cast was good, but I thought Kathy Bates fell far too short.
I don't like Norbert for Rooster, but more importantly, I don't care what size the role is! A role is a role and I don't think someone should only take (and only be given) starring opportunities because they've won a Tony for Leading Actor.
Isn't getting work and performing an honor and the whole point whether you're billed above the title or have one song in the second act? I thought so anyway.
PERFECT CAST, NathanLaneStalker
Beth Leavel has actually played Ms. Hannigan in professional regional theatres before.
I heartily dislike Annie, but I do like the idea of Hunter Foster as Rooster.

When casting the role of Daddy Warbucks, we must only think of bald actors!
You all should be casting directors, I swear.
Lily: Brooke Sunny Moriber
Rooster: Norbert Leo Butz
Warbucks: Robert Westenberg
Grace: Sutton Foster
Hannigan: Christine Baranski
Annie: Harvey Fierstein
Sutton would be an annoying Grace.
She can be the Star to Be.
And I think I'll change my Hannigan to Adrianne Lennox.

Thanks you coolphantom919!
I think Andrea Martin would be PERFECT!!!!!!!!!! Picture her as Hannigan!
Also Alan Cumming played Rooster in the re-make! And the re-make was just like the show!!! AND that was the year after he won the Tony!

I'd like to see Andrea McArdle play "Annie" all grown up. Now that might be interesting.

Make that Annie Lennox and maybe I'd go see it.
Annie - Jaclyn Nedenthal
Warbucks - Gregg Edelman
Grace - Lisa Howard
Hannigan - Michele Pawk
Rooster - Brian D'Arcy James
Lily - Amy McAlexander

sutton was the "star to be" in the 97' 20th anniversary broadway revival and she was amazing..
I think Toni Collette would be a riot as Miss Hannigan.

Harriet Harris needs to come back to Broadway so she should play Miss Hannigan.

So amazing that even having seen the production more than once, I don't remember her at all.

I know, and I saw her, and that's why I suggested it. She is brilliant.
