Don't know what it's about, but it was a duet for the possible film adaption of the movie back in the 90's sung between the Baker and his wife. You can listen to it on Tumblr if you search it on Google.

You can usually find Rainbows on the internet, if you know where to look. It isn't a bad song.

Daniel will be 14 by the time this starts shooting. I guess that works. He kicked ass in Les Miserables.
That Deadline article basically lists Chris Pine and Jake Gyllenhaal as sure things. Alright, now we only need our Little Red and Cinderella.
He was easily my favorite part of the Les Mis film. Hope this works out.
As much as I'm keeping my fingers crossed for Sarah Hyland as Little Red, is it safe to assume they are going to cast a younger actress in the part now that Jack has been cast?

I would guess that they will get someone around Huttlestone's age to play Red Riding Hood now, yes.

That does make sense, I just think, IMO, that there will be a certain ick factor with a 50 year old Johnny Depp and a 14 year old girl...... And not the same kind of ick factor that is intended within the play.
At the same time, I hope they don't change the context of the scenes between the Wolf and Little Red.
As Somethingwicked pointed out, it seems like the schedule for the film makes it unrealistic for anyone who is in a network TV show to be a part of this; sadly, this means no Sarah Hyland, no Megan Hilty, etc. I wonder if Sarah Stiles was given the chance to audition or if they just want familiar names for some of those roles.
No Christine Baranski either then, I suppose? Shame, she would have been a delight as the Stepmother.

I don't see it being any creepier than 16 year old Danielle Ferland to the 37 year old Robert Westenberg. The age difference doesn't seem as creepy in the filmed version because it was made two years after Into the Woods closed. Danielle was much older by then. The wolf is a creepy sexual predator, why not have the age difference?
Edited for spelling.

The video was made a month or so before it closed...about two years after it opened. So Ferland (the definitive Little Red, in my mind) was 18-ish when it was made. I saw it not long after it opened, and Ferland was marvelous. It's not so much the ick factor as a 16 year could actually 'know' things now, whereas a 14 year old feels just too young to make the song work (which was a major problem for me in the revival). I know it's only two years...but those two years do matter.
I love Gavroche!! Now they just need to cast Isabel Allen as Little Red and I'll be a happy camper.

I don't think so. I think when I was that age those two years would have mattered. Things are different now. A 14 year old today knows more things than she should these days. There are a lot of reasons for this, puberty setting in earlier, the lack of innocence due to media, and other contributing factors. Besides, we can still have a 16 year old Red, which is still comparable to Daniel's age, and apparently less creepy for an older wolf.
Very excited to see Daniel as Jack. I can picture Sarah Hyland telling Daniel "I'll be your mother now." I stopped reading the script so IDK if that relationship is still there.
The Wolf should tell Little Red that he'll be her Daddy now.
Sawyeremcee, I hadn't thought about Baranski. It seems like she's in so maybe there is some hope for us wanting Sarah Hyland to play Little Red.
The time demands of the Stepmother role aren't the same as Cinderella or even Little Red. They could work Baranski in, and The Good Wife could maybe be flexible.

I think Huttlestone is terrific choice for Jack.
Ugh! I hated Huttlestone in Les Miz. His raspy/throaty/husky voice was very grating. Hopefully, his voice would have broken by then, and for the better.
