In the span of one page in this thread, you have suggested Justin Bieber for INTO THE WOODS and expressed your disappointment for not having Taylor Swift in LES MISERABLES. Is this real life? Am I being punk'd?
Please no Colfer. I must be the only person who really just doesn't like his voice at all. If he had on a wig and makeup, I'd say he'd be a very talented drag queen, but it's just weird to hear it come out of someone who looks like a boy. He probably has auditioned, though. From what I can tell, Marshall has somehow gotten just about every major player in Hollywood to audition for him at some point.

"What are the chances Chris Colfer has auditioned for Jack? I don't want him to be a part of this movie, but I kinda do just to see the BWW meltdown."
If that were to happen I would bring my I-Pod to the movie theatre and play it during the parts where Jack sings even during "Your Fault" which is one of my favorite songs. Though I would try to keep the volume of the I-Pod as low as possible and stand near the entrance to theatre so the it would not distract people.

I'm hoping he has not. Maybe he won't do it due to his schedule for that show that made him famous.

Love it. I feel like we would all have a heart attack if he was cast, but I'm sure some of those GLEE kids tried to be in this (or maybe not because of the fall shooting). Anyway, Carrie Fisher as the Giant please?
Fine, meet Headband. She's apparently our non requested taste meter.

Do you genuinely believe that Justin Bieber is a legitimately good choice to play the role of Jack in the film adaptation of a Sondheim musical? Yes or No will suffice.
Can't stand Colfer...at all!
CGI drunk Anna Nichole Smith for the Giant!
No, headband, I do not think Justin should play Jack.

I LOVE DREAMCASTING. IT'S SO FUN. THE BEST THING EVER.
Can we dreamcast the movie if it were produced by Craig & Rob of BroadwayWorld.com? Go ahead. Take a stab at it, Jordan.
But let me kick it off by suggesting broadway guy as the cow.

Who is Colfer?
Yes, I really think Justin Beiber would be great for that role. Albeit he's a little old. I would cast him in a heartbeat and I'm not really a fan.
Let tweens pick our Jack!
Also concerning Barks and the Eponione role. I feel like they could have bulked it up and given this part some substance. Unfortunately they couldn't do it. The part pretty much sucks and there was NO WAY anyone was getting that Oscar from whatser-beyotch
I'm positive that many has already said this, but I think probably the best way to go for Jack is Daniel Radcliffe.
No way in hell Daniel Radcliffe is a believable 16 anymore.
I thought Nicholas Hoult was an adorable Jack in Jack and the Giant Slayer (and he's already got the wardrobe), but know that he's about to shoot a low-budget indie in Louisiana with Charlize Theron.

I'd like to see Logan Lerman play Jack. If not then they should cast an unknown.

I know some people have suggested Nolan Gould for the role of Jack, but he does not look 16 to me. He's only 14. However, I guess he could pull it off because Elle Fanning was 14 years old when she was filming 'Maleficent' where she plays Princess Aurora, and the character is suppose to be 16.
Does anyone think they may fashion these princesses to look more like their Disney counterparts? I'm speaking mostly about Cinderella and Rapunzel. Since they are already established Disney princesses, I wouldn't be surprised to see a blonde Cinderella in her famous blue dress. Same goes for Rapunzel.
Knowing how much Disney strives for uniformity, it was something that crossed my mind.
No. Disney also makes ONCE UPON A TIME and they've been careful to steer away from those "stereotypical Disney looks".
Don't know about that. In the script of the film, Cinderella's slippers are gold...not glass as it is in the Disney version of Cinderella.

Nolan Gould is my number One Choice for Jack. Slightly off topic but Nolan Gould is a Genius with an IQ in the top 1%.
Also, I completely agree with whoever said( I forget who) Tom Holland from The Impossible would be make a good Jack.

True, Jordan. But Cindy in OUAT was still blonde. Disney may take liberties with story and characterization but Snow and Belle are still brunettes and Cinderella is still a blonde on OUAT.
I wouldn't be surprised to see that carried over.
Tom Holland actually played Billy Elliot on the West End, I believe!

Snow White traditionally has dark hair. her hair as dark as night, or ebony, depending on which version you read. Rapunzel is traditionally fair haired, and at least yellow as corn for this story. Besides, why does hair color matter for Cinderella? Does a blond Cinderella necessarily mean that they were trying to go for their former version of Cinderella?
People like Chris Colfer and Nolan Gould are series regulars on television shows that will be filming in the fall when INTO THE WOODS goes into production. They are completely unavailable, much in the same way Allison Janney is because of her series, etc.
