So much feces. Immigrants love to make that stuff, right? Like every day you can count on them just making more of it. It’s a real problem.

You really are a vile little person."
Huh? It’s going to be a biohazard of alcohol and smoke and marijuana and feces particles in EVERY CARPET on EVERY FLOOR of that building. Be realistic and have some empathy for the people who have to work through it."
Wow, you're such a douche bag.

We really shouldn’t feed the trolls, Carlos. But if we’re gonna do it we can feed them some of that feces they love.

Theres definitely a lot of food crumbs and alcohol everywhere. They had rice cookers confiscated, and I’ve seen images of liquor bottles everywhere.

Carlos coming in clutch with the ad hominem this sunny Monday morning. At least Jordan does it with “my tongue in my cheek and my lips in a smile”, a la Petruchio.

People been cooking in hotels for years. Audra’s reheating chow mein on a hot plate 8x a week right now.
Once you realize immigrants aren’t the problem, you’ll suddenly realize that theres so many other more important things to worry about.

Awww, aren't you precious.
Ask me if I give a fvck...."
Do you give a fvck about the migrants? Would you open your home to one? Would anyone here telling me “what a troll I am” open their home to a family of migrants and let them have free reign while you go to work and let the chips fall where they may, returning home every day to whatever state your home is in?
It’s well known that landlords have to refurbish and renovate after renters move out due to the mistreatment of property that comes with lack of pride of ownership or any feeling of responsibility. And that’s after people have been paying to be there. Can you imagine how people treat FREE accommodation?
Report me all you want, but nothing I say is racist or xenophobic or anything else you want to accuse me of.

The unit next to mine is undergoing severe refurbishment right now after the last tenant left a few months ago. I’m not saying this as a way to diminish what you were saying, I’m saying it as a fact. The last tenant in that unit was 40 years old, white, straight, worked on Wall Street, did drugs day and night and frequently passed out in the backyard.
You say these things as if they are specific to people who were not born in this country and have “infested” our land - our land of immigrants that the 151 foot lady holding the tablets downtown, proudly welcomes.

A peek into the conservative mind: the non-white hordes are bringers of pestilence."
Classic disproportionate escalation from Bwaygurl2. The Row is going to need sandblasting and everyone here knows it. It won’t be Four Horsemen-grade, but it won’t be a fresh box of pot pourri either.
But please, continue to misinterpret me."

I don’t understand what you are mad about? That the row will no longer be used as a migrant shelter? That they will now have to pay rent just like everybody else? You want it going in perpetuity? You think what we had was good? Obviously the rest of the country didn’t think so including most New Yorkers which is why there was a massive shift to Trump

No. And this is where your logic will always fail. People aren’t mad that it’s going back to a hotel. People are mad at your glee that people are going to be displaced.

Matt and verywellthen with expected, empty ad hominem and Jordan bringing the sole considered substance.
Regarding your neighbor (and I hope the next one respects their neighbors enough to not pass out outside), that’s exactly what I mean. Anyone from anywhere, if they don’t own a place and are either renting or getting it gratis, is likely to abuse it or, at least, care for it less.

Are you kidding me?? Literally every single one of them has been desperate to get out of there. They don’t want to be there to begin with. It’s like a jail according to reports. Most of them do not have credible claims of asylum to begin with and will be deported back. It was a completely avoidable crisis that should have been handled completely differently. So we spend billions and billions of dollars for them to end up exactly where they started. Legal immigration good, illegal immigration bad. What do you not understand ?

“Come on, mods. I think we all know where this mean-spirited thread needs to go.”
And this is the problem. You see real talk as mean-spirited. As Sondheim wrote, “Nice is different than good”. Your niceness is actually a kamikaze mission, an own goal, a session of Russian roulette where you “win”.
$5 million per month of our money went to leasing the Row for the last three years, to house people who, like Crusty rightly states, are likely to just be sent home. That money could have been spent on improving your parks! Your bike trails! Your public transit! But nooooooo, it’s important to be nice!!!

Crusty remains a multi personality nut job and Boris remains a right-wing Nazi lover. Good job, Crusty, reviving a thread that didn't need it. You continue to be an absolute troll desperately seeking attention.

The pending cancellation of gay marriage, and possibly of legal gay rights in general, are going to impact Broadway MUCH more than any immigration issue.

Drunk Hegseth also wants it to be a crime to be gay now after he shared a video of his pastor stating that being gay is a crime and that women need to be more submissive to their husbands and women shouldn't be allowed to vote.

Actually I find blatant bigotry, othering, and dehumanization as mean-spirited. As it stands now, the only thing this thread is showcasing is the smug hate you call "dialogue". Go polish your pennies and leave Sondheim's name out of this.
