I don't know if that's a compliment or not! LMAO

I am dragging so hard right now after a crazy weekend in Boston. I need a nap before the show! Man, I'm going to be hurting tomorrow, but it will be worth it! Don't know if I'll have the energy to post a review tonight, but I will definitely get it up tomorrow.

No idea, but we're going in early just to be safe because I have no clue what it's gonna be like there.

More thumbs up. The new material is fantastic.
as much as i know the album is titled Quiet. i have no idea when he's going to record it, but i sure hope it is soon. the stuff he did tonight was absolutely beautiful. i hate to say it, but even tho he's in a "down" point right now like he said it's really letting him create some great music. it is a lot more emotional and sad, but it's incredible. that said i hope whatever is bothering him passes over.
he did about 5 or 6 new songs, For Nancy, Might Still Happen(my personal favorite song of his)Radio Lover, a Stevie Wonder song, a few others and I Got Life which was totally awesome. he basically went from For Nancy and at the end he went "i'm still your baby/ and i'm still the same...mother/i got laughs sister" i loved how it went a little slower for the verses but picked up for the chorus. much love to Gavin for a great night of music!
Just got back from the 9:30 show! It was great to see Adrienne (Leia) and friend along with others. (THANK YOU SO MUCH FOR SCREAMING "DO ROCKET RIDE" LOvE YOU!) The music was stunning i can't wait to hear more of Quiet. The crowd was great and Holding was so precious.

Andrew, Kacie, and Allison were there. They walked to the front of the line and said "were in the cast of hair and we have a table" and the lady said "get in the line". Too great.

**HUGS** So great to have seen you Taylor!!
And that chick that screamed "ROCKET RIDE!!!" Yeah, that was my BFF. I'll tell her you approved!!!! LMAO
I don't remember all the names of the new songs, but the break-up song was amazing, as was "Holding". I can definitely relate to what he was saying about that - waking up sad and blue.... Such an amazing song.
So tired. So happy.
Oh, when he sang "Hot Ohio", Jazzy, I thought of you!
Andrew, Kacie, Allison, Tommar, Ato, and Paris were all there. i was a couple people in back of them waiting to get in.
i loved Michael James Scott's dance. the lighting made it so perfect.
Saw the 9:30 concert. It was a lot more personal and melancholy than I expected, but it was a wonderful night. He sounded great... Loved his new material, and his version of "'Till There Was You".

Just got back from the 11:30 show. It was amazing. I think it was the same set as the 9:30 but he added "these four walls" (at least I think he said he didn't do it at the first show. )
Anyways I'm totally out of it cause I've been up since early.. But the new stuff
was fantastic. I'm obsessed with "love fell down". I'm so excited for the new cd.
Gavin was really in to singing in the dark.
He also made an announcement about broadway impact teaming up with Cyndi Lauper for shows staring in sept. Info should be posted on the bway impact site.
Maybe more coherant thoughts will come tomorrow.
Goodnight all!

Just wow. I am so tired today, but in such a good mood. So worth not getting to bed until 1:45 am for.
I really loved the personal side that he was showing last night. Talking about wanting to find love, breaking up and waking up blue and sometimes just wanting to cry or scream. And having dealt with depression for nearly 3 years (not having medical insurance really sucked) all the things he sang and talked about really hit close to home. It was just an amazing experience. I hope all those songs are on the new album.

That sounds like it was a kick-ass concert! I'll definitely buy his next CD, and I'm really excited to hear his more 'personal songs'. 'For Nancy' was the most personal song in GTN and it might actually be my favorite one, so I'm hoping his newer songs will have the seem feel. I'm so glad you guys had a good time!
