Not sure when you looked at it, but as was mentioned upthread, the Times made a correction. It originally said today but quickly corrected the piece with the correct date, which is tomorrow the 25th. So blame the Times :)
Krakowski and Benanti both have a history with Encores!, not that they always go with someone with whom they've worked in the past. I guess I would just love to see either of them in it, though I would never say no to the brilliant Renee Elise Goldsberry and Cynthia Erivo. Goldsberry, in particular, brings such a sexy and light energy to Angelica Schuyler, I'd love to see what she can do with Dot. Krakowski has repeatedly said this is one of her dream roles and KIMMY SCHMIDT won't be filming for a while, this sounds like a great opportunity for her to do it.

That's because they go onsale tomorrow."
Actually it's because Jordan already bought all of the tickets.

Well at least we know who we have to f*k to get a good seat.
Carmen. Effing. Cusack. Whether Bright Star is still open or not, she's gotta do this. To this day I rue having missed her doing it in Chicago. From what I've heard she was simply extraordinary.

If Jordan looks like Jeffrey Dean then I'm good with that.

I will hope that they add a performance at the Arsht Center in Miami! Not likely, I suppose, but I can hope!
Just an FYI, if you're quick fingered, there's a mobile site loophole on City Center and you can buy your ticket now ahead of the 12PM official time. Just got mine! And they're already going quick.

There are 724 ppl ahead of me in the online queue.
712.
695.
It's such a well-organized online experience that allows your depression to deepen exponentially as you watch your wait time.
I'm #891 in the waiting room...this is INSANE!
I'm 1,345. My estimated wait time is 36 minutes. City Center may be a barn, but I'm not optimistic.
I'm 1326 if that makes you feel better. Did the queue start before noon?

I logged on at 11:30 and I'm number 1195. So while ticket sales may not have started until noon, the line certainly formed well ahead of that.
I'm 694 and I'm not even optimistic, since I wasn't planning on spending more than $75.
1415th in line! Wooo that's what I get for not remember that tickets went on sale until 12:02pm.

If you opened the website before noon, it randomly placed you in the queue at noon.

DID YOU NOT HEAR JORDAN
There's a loophole on the mobile site which allows you to buy tickets out of the queue! Got mine!

Seriously, guys. Use your phones. No waiting. You just go right into the ticket screen.
Also, I'm not Jordan. Thank you very much. (No offense, Jordan.)
Disable javascript in your browser, then go directly to http://www.nycitycenter.org/tickets/ReserveSingle.aspx?performanceNumber=9849
Doing so will let you bypass the queue even on your desktop/laptop

Whoops! Just so irritated by people!
I wasn't able to bypass on the mobile site, but I WAS able to buy a ticket on the mobile app.
