Here's what I learned from this thread:
1. Saying things like "Snow Black and the 7 Swaggers, Shasquirta and the Beast, 101 Weavematians, Willis in Ghettoland" is not racist, it's funny. Objecting to it, however, is racist.
2. Having four black leads is racist; having one is "mixed" casting.
3. Black women should play maids whenever possible.
4. A black Annie is okay IF she's also a maid (see above). To obect to that, however, is racist.

Is this what having a BWW meltdown feels like? I can't stop replying.
I'm still not sure how Tiana having a white love interest is racist, or how any of us said that the fact she had a white love interest was racist, how did we even get talking about her love interest? I love how there's *no* issue with the fact the creators of the first black Disney princess just thought of her as being a maid. Meanwhile, sentences like "I like the ANNIE where the white Daddy Warbucks gets the black girl" are said with no hint of awareness.

I got distracted because someone mentioned port and cheese, which reminds me of port wine cheese, which with crackers is one of my favorite snacks.
