I saw the premiere in London many years ago. I don’t remember a thing about it...but I still have the baseball hat (merch). I’ll have to give the CD a listen if I can make the time...

I just had to cancel this weekend because I was sick, and the box office person said they hadn't heard anything about an extension.
But, the original casting call for the production said: "Rehearsals begin Dec. 18, 2017; previews begin Jan. 30, 2018; runs Feb. 21 or 22-March 11 with possible ext. through April 1 in NYC."
Is there any chance that this production could get a cast album? I know it's not very likely with Off Broadway limited run musicals. I saw the show yesterday and would love to have a recording of this cast performing the score!
A Chorus Line revival played its final Broadway performance on August 17, 2008. The tour played its final performance on August 21, 2011. A new non-equity tour started in October 2012 played its final performance on March 23, 2013. Another non-equity tour launched on January 20, 2018. The tour ended its US run in Kansas City and then toured throughout Japan August & September 2018.
how is the view from the 2nd row side seats and 5th row side seats; which one do you recommend? Also is the center mezz a good place to sit in the theatre? Thank you :)

I sat on the sides, second row and it wasn’t bad, you are really close though, it’s a really small theater, if I had to see it again I would go with 5th row though.

First row is actually part of the show and the actors are often sitting/moving around in the seats right in front of you, sometimes they do block your view.
I saw this musical 13 years ago and find it more prescient now.
I really can’t understand how anyone could find this piece dated: there is no need to know who Jerry Springer is to understand this piece. Northeastern (and Western) American ignorance completely blindsided many of us from the group of people who voted for Trump. I am not saying those people are specifically reflected in this musical, but their desires hopes and dreams are reflected in this oratorio.
This show works on multiple levels of enjoyment. If were a producer, I wouldn’t rush it to Broadway: I’d find a space in New York where it could breath in a slightly larger theater and be accessible to non-New Yorkers (ie not New World Stages).
If I were sitting on an aisle, I would have left before intermission. Total ugly garbage, neither funny, pertinent, nor musically interesting. A Rando misfire, but sadly, it is the typical junk audiences get from The New Group.
