Love it. Especially Jan.
Much better than the original artwork.
Brilliant.
Gorgeous, simply gorgeous.
Cannot wait!
I hope this artist is hired by many more shows to do their artwork.

I was looking forward to this show to begin with but now I am looking forward to it even more. I love the artwork. I hope either this or some variation of it becomes the artwork for the marquee.
It looks great, just like many of the old posters that it's based on. It's not a new or unique idea, but it works!
I like it! its an old-timey movie poster re-created!

If you go to the NY Times article linked in the original post, there is another link to his website.
Finally, a Broadway poster that isn't a photoshop masturbatory session- AND it perfectly encapsulates the show in every way. Really wonderful.

SO excited for this.
Am I the only one who thinks two of the people look like Meryl Streep and Priscilla Lopez?? I would DIE to see them in this revival!!
I think the artwork is way too busy for a Playbill cover, but I LOVE it as a poster. I'm curious to see what they do for the Playbill.
