Now that the revival cast of Les Mis has been seen and reviewed, I want to know who in the cast you think has a chance to be at least noimated for a Tony Award next year, or who should?

Possibly Alexander Gemignani or Aaron Lazar.
Aaron Lazar got good marks in nearly every review, so I think he stands a good chance of getting a nomination.
I'm wondering if many of them might not be overlooked on the basis that much like the show they're in, they're not creating anything, they're just re-creating almost like, well, Xerox (as Brantley put it) something old. Yes, they're very talented, but they're more like replacements in a long running show than anything else.

Daphne will be nominated and win.
Um. *snort*
I'd love for Alex and Aaron to get nominated...
I have to say Celia and Alex...but also Norm Lewis was excellent. Am I the only one who thought so?
I liked Norm too - but Terrence Mann was much better and more sinister....

To be honest, I don't think any of them particularly deserve it.

I do have some concern that the cast might get overlooked, for the reason that LuvtheEmcee stated. I am hoping that at least Celia will get noimated, because from what I have heard about her in the role I think I would like her. I like to believe Celia does have a good chance.

Really?
Obviously, you didn't see him the second go around right before the show closed.
He was accused on various message boards of acting disinterested and bored in the role which I tend to agree with since it seemed that way to me.
Both the revivals (repeats?) of LES MISERABLES and A CHORUS LINE will be completely snubbed by the Tonys. And if THE WIZ comes in as planned, neither will receive a Best Revival nomination, as we will have 4 newly conceived revivals (COMPANY, THE APPLE TREE, 110 IN THE SHADE, THE WIZ) to fill out the category.
Regarding Mr. Mann - We did see him in the second go round just before the show closed. He was described as "maniacal" (sp?) as he definitely played it that way. Was kinda scary actually! Loved it!

The best chance for a nomination right now IMO is for Aaron Lazar as Best Featured Actor In A Musical. He seemed to get pretty good notices all around.
I would love Celia to get nominated. I adored her Eponine.
Eponine is my absolute favorite female role in the history of musical theatre (actually, pretty much any role Sutton Foster has played is...), and its great to hear that Celia is doing it justice!
Can't wait to see the show on Saturday (Nov. 18th) night!
It seems like there is a lot of competition this year and a lot of deserving people, leading me to believe that maybe none of them will be nominated. Though Aaron Lazar has been getting really good reviews across the boards.
I thoroughly enjoy Gary Beach,
And I hope he gets a nomination, he brought the old romantic yet surly & underhanded french revolution era feel to Thenarier so well,
I'm glad he finally decided do it again, and for Broadway.
