Mordred looks like a chorus member from Taboo...
Now, mother always said that whenever you hear a strange, frightening, and potentially life-threatening ghostly chant coming from the dark woods that there's one thing that you should do: Not wake the others and go investigate it alone...

IT"S WONDERUFL! People are just being their usual bitchy selves on here. Marin Mazzie's voice is beautiful, not flat, and amazing. Stacy Keach is giving a magnificent performance. My only quarrel is with Gabriel Byrne's inability to sing. Nathan Gunn is sexy and great. I loved the overture. The humor is great, what a GREAT BOOK! I've always loved this musical and have always been puzzled by others sour reactions to it. (by contrast, I don't like South Pacific - these 2 shows are opposites and it's a matter of taste).

Byrne is giving a good acting performance but he does need to be able to sing. Marin Mazzie is more than making up for it.

Who possesses that gorgeous voice that was singing "Follow Me"?

Actually, strike that. Mordred looks like Daniel Radcliffe in drag.

I made the mistake of flipping from Law and Order:SVU to Mordred. No excuse for that. I don't know which is worse, this production of Camelot or Marcia Gay Harden's terrible Southern accent on SVU.

For us on the east coast by NY, its already at Mordred.

I have to admit that Christopher Lloyd was a pleasant surprise, coming from someone who forgot this was on tonight. I don't recall him ever doing stage work.

"isn't this show live? why are you mentioning characters who haven't shown up yet?"

It sounds like you're on a delay because Modred is here and...nevermind.

re: Live From Lincoln Center: Camelot, airs this Thursday on PBS They are killing the singing!

Mazzie is FLAT and forcing it.

These songs are so glorious if they can just float. They are being forced and it's just dreadful.

Are we going to see any more Sieber or Kudisch? They're the only good parts of this train wreck.

I liked Marin until this number. Girlfriend CANNOT do comedy.
Question: Will Esparza win for The Homecoming? BobbyBubby: I hope so. If only for the mental health of many people on this board.

Even if they didn't have much rehearsal time, they should still be able to SING.

The singing is really not up to par.

ETA - Byrne and Mazzie's singing is not up to par. I haven't seen enough of it to comment on the others.
