Does anyone have photos from the marquees/outsides of theaters from the original productions of GYPSY, FOLLIES, NIGHT MUSIC, SWEENEY TODD, COMPANY or INTO THE WOODS? I've searched for good quality photos of these for a while now and haven't been able to come up with much of anything. Thanks in advance.

This is one of Company, it's probably not what you're looking for, but it's the best I was able to find.
That heavily-used photo of the WEST SIDE STORY marquee is actually from the National Theatre in Washington DC, where the show had its pre-Broadway tryout.
I love the Sit 'n ' Snack.
also, the West Side Story marquee picture is so gorgeous.
It's impossible to find a really good picture of the Follies marquee, but there's home movie footage of the exterior of the Winter Garden around somewhere. And there's newsreel footage of the West Side Story opening night with images of that Winter Garden marquee.
There wouldn't have been much outside The Uris for 'Sweeney Todd' anyway.
I'm trying to post a photo of Follies at the Winter Garden, but can't get it to work. Will try again later.

I love the "Matinee Today" sign.
Thanks, Brody.
Matinee boards are still used in London theatres.
These are amazing guys, thanks so much!!!

These pictures are awesome. Thanks so much for posting. Why no chance of the Sweeney marquee? And does anyone happen to have a picture of any of the old Rodgers and Hammerstein marquees? Thanks in advance!
The Uris (now the Gershwin) has no exterior street entrance therefore no traditional marquee. That is why a photo of the marquee isn't possible.
Those pics are Great, for a moment I wondered who is
Mary Ezio?
The underroof of the Winter Garden facade was Gorgeous!
There's a picture in the booklet for the Hollywood Bowl cast recording of The King and I with Julie Andrews that features Rodgers and Hammerstein standing in front of the King and I marquee with Gertrude Lawrence's name above the title.

Somewhere I have a postcard from Into the Woods showing the exterior of the Martin Beck Theatre with the inflatable Giant's Leg hanging down (the effect was supposed to be that the dead giant was lying on the roof).
I have actual photos I took of that Into The Woods marquee and inflatable leg when I saw the show. I'll have to rummage through some boxes and find them and post here.
I'm not sure of the intended effect, but it looked like the giant was trying to come down over the roof of the theater from where I stood. Really cool.
