''The current 'Company' tour also changed the “Chinese techniques” lyric in “Have I Got a Guy For You” for the same reason.''
So what has ''Chinese techniques'' been changed to?
''Rich and Happy'' isn't in ''Merrily'' anymore, but it originally had the lyric: ''So we found this little Chinese gardener ...''
As a Chinese-American, I never found any of these lyrics offensive.

The line is now, “Smooth, he’s into all those erotic mystiques / The Kama Sutra and tantric techniques.”

Most of us here have been saying its going to extend to at least the Tonys since....well, forever.
Extension through July 7 is up on the Hudson website.

So happy it’s extending even longer! I definitely wanna catch this again but the prices are still crazy! Will try my luck with the lottery I guess.

Fantastic news. This significantly helps the show's Tony chances all around.

Over the phone I was just able to exchange my 03/24 tickets for the new final performance using my AmEx card and charged for the delta in price + $12 exchange fee + $50 service fee + $3 order processing fee. Would only be crazy enough to splurge like this for Sondheim + this cast/production.

It will be interesting to see how pricing may evolve based on ticket sales during the extension given the dynamic pricing that is employed. It's not an apples-apples comparison, but I remember getting some great ticket prices during the final Into the Woods extension as demand softened (at least on the dates I wanted).
Excluding the final show, there are seats under $100 for every performance of the extension, with some weekday prices as low as $66, including fees.

GRRRR. Why is it an American Express pre-sale!? Very frustrating.
I know it's been asked, but does an American Express GIFT CARD work? (If anyone knows.)

It worked for me on the CABARET presale, though that was a different ticketing sight.
Fantastic news!!

Are those seats in the toilets? Do they include Ambassador Lounge access? ;)

How long does the American Express pre-sale last until?
Update: The public on-sale begins Fri., Dec. 8, at 10 a.m., EST.
General sale starts Friday at 10 a.m.
FYI, Daniel Radcliffe is off April 2 and 3, which is why prices are particularly low those days.

For a show running almost 10 months, Daniel Radcliffe has two scheduled days off? Does Jonathan Groff have any at all?
For my daughter’s sake, and her late January weekend trip plans, I am curious whether prices then will calm down a bit now that the revival will run into the summer.

I just tried to purchase a matinee ticket, for April 17/24, and a box popped up that Jonathan would not be on for that performance.

Groff off for Tuesday 16 April and both shows on Wednesday 17 April.

Thanks Springtime.
I have tickets for Back to the Future for the Friday evening of that week. Anyone have a sense if Telecharge will allow me to exchange them for the Wednesday matinee, earlier in the week, to open up that Friday evening show slot to see Merrily with Jonathan?
Yes, Telecharge is pretty good about that. Just tell them you have a scheduling conflict. You'll have to buy new tickets while you're on the phone with them, and then they'll refund your old tickets. You'll be responsible for any price difference, although it should actually be less for a Wednesday matinee anyway.

Daniel Radcliffe also out 30 May, 31 May, 1 June and 2 June.

That's actually great to know. I never would have tried to ask for that. In fact, I mistakenly booked my MERRILY tix on the wrong day, but I imagine ATG isnt as forgiving.
