Six, Moulin Rouge, and Wicked confirmed for the Parade, with Annie Live making it's requisite tie-in appearance.

Any information on who will be performing on the CBS telecast?
I do wonder how MR will work this out without their expansive set design. Honestly, they should’ve been on the CBS broadcast and pre-tape from their theatre.
I'm seeing the parade in person this year, super excited!

From Macy’s?
Many years ago, I remember seeing a couple of parades from inside the Times Square Olive Garden, which was a pretty good view.
Nice line up so far, the CBS broadcast is always so boring with nothing new, so Im glad NBC has options. Last year it was so sad so Im looking forward to this so much.

Not sure quite sure where we'll be watching, haven't planned it out yet. Would love suggestions!

I think Six would work really well for this, regardless of what song is chosen. I wonder about Moulin Rouge as well, but I'd expect them to choose something like Backstage Romance where the spectacle is more in the dance than the set, possibly as a medley with something like Your Song to show off the leads.
Confirmed: Waitress and Chicago will be doing the CBS Thanksgiving Day Parade broadcast. The Weisslers have come to play once again.

Now that it goes down 6th Avenue, are there any good vantage points to see from above, aside from hotels?
Performance rehearsals began last night. It appears that Andrea Macasaet will NOT be performing with SIX, as alternate Courtney Mack is going on in her place. Any word on Macasaet, people? I know she was last in the show five days ago...
Also Jenny DiNoia is on for Elphaba Thursday morning when Wicked performs. I don't believe Lindsay Pearce has begun rehearsals again just yet.
I haven’t seen any photos of moulin rouge rehearsing
Seen some clips floating around of Wicked rehearsing One Short Day- I don't see a world in which they turn it into a medley/it isn't just the standalone number, but we'll see come Thursday. Any other updates on what songs everyone else is doing?

The performances are on a carpet. They don’t use any sets. They include some choreography and lip-synced singing and that’s it. It’s a short number in the middle of a parade. It’s not a full-out staged musical number. Hahaha.
This was the revival of PIPPIN at the parade. A musical staged inside an elaborate circus tent at the theatre.

Per Jacqueline B Arnold’s Instagram stories, they are rehearsing tonight. :)

Lots of posts from the MR ensemble at tonight’s parade rehearsal. Thus far, Natalie is the only principle I’ve seen photographed. And while others could be there too, my first inclination is a variation of “Diamonds”.

Who”s watching? Got a little teary eyed when it started because it’s all back to live and normal, then “Annie”started and I full out lost it,
I really think that was a missed opportunity. They should’ve started with “NYC” as a way to highlight Annie Live and focus on the city returning to normalcy. Didn’t think the performance was great.

Um, no. The parade is used to promote the show. They would never do NYC, because it doesn’t feature the leads, namely Harry Connick Jr.

I thought I Don’t Need Anything But You was sorta a weird choice but i thought Tomorrow worked nicely.

Huh? “N.Y.C” is mostly sung by Daddy Warbucks (Harry Connick, Jr.).

Yea, with Grace, and a Nicole Scherzinger wasn’t getting up!

Daddy Warbucks is in NYC with enough to give a tease and leave people wanting to see more, but okay.
To me, Wicked is the show coming off best here. It’s catchy, has fun costumes, an introduction to the story, and personality.
Watching the CHICAGO number, I had to wonder if the ensemble cast has been cut down again by the Weissler's. Curious. Does anyone know the answer?

The amount of chopping up of the song along with the restaging and the absence of Grace would have been too much. They open in a week. They have enough of their plates without having to restate an entire number when the number they did accomplished what it needed to do.
