Magic Mike Live will be opening an NYC residency this October 2026 in the space formerly occupied by The Copacabana. Tickets are already on sale.

So Naked Boys Singing 2026?

A Chorus Line revival played its final Broadway performance on August 17, 2008. The tour played its final performance on August 21, 2011. A new non-equity tour started in October 2012 played its final performance on March 23, 2013. Another non-equity tour launched on January 20, 2018. The tour ended its US run in Kansas City and then toured throughout Japan August & September 2018.

It's not cheesy garbage like both of those things. It's a sexy feel with men who are actually attractive (unlike Chippendales) so bachelorette parties have even more options in NYC. It's a money grab that will absolutely succeed given how well its done in Vegas.

Is NYC a popular bachelorette destination? I’m surprised they wouldn’t want to open this on Broadway in Nashville

It was on an episode of the Real Housewives of Beverly Hills. It actually looks really interesting and well done, and a lot of great dancing. I wonder if we'll be getting some Broadway Bares type cross overs.

I'm wondering why they are announcing so far in advance?  Sounds like whatever renovations they're making are just starting.   Ate they trying to get more investments?

It’s an enormous investment to gut-renovate a space to build a custom venue- they’re going to want to build an audience now, even if it won’t start for nine more months. 

"...everyone finally shut up, and the audience could enjoy the beginning of the Anatevka Pogram in peace."

Heaven is coming to Hell’s Kitchen!  Did any of you see that big billboard they have in front of the old copacabana?  It has some hot guy on the 51st street side, and then facing 8th Ave, there’s an image of some guys jeans and private area with some skin showing
