I have to admit that I will at least give it a try. However, I'm thinking this will either SUCK
OR will be decent but unable to find an audience to keep it alive.
Jenna Ushkawitz (totally wrong spelling, I'm sure), also from Spring Awakening, is also in show.
If we're not having fun, then why are we doing it?

Posted: 1/7/09 at 10:58pmJust to add two more shows that recently had semi-brilliant musical episodes - It's Always Sunny In Philadelphia a few months back had the characters putting together a travesty of a musical. Also, though it's hardly the first time with the series, South Park's penultimate episode for this season was this fantastic parody of High School Musical.

That Always Sunny musical was completely insane (then again, every episode of that show is insane). "You gotta pay the troll toll to get into the boy's hole/boy's soul."

Kristin Chenoweth and Victor Garber are joining the cast in what will likely turn out to be recurring roles!
Wicked alum Chenoweth, who showed off her awesome pipes on the late, great Pushing Daisies, will play a part that's as top secret as it is hilarious. (Sorry, that's all you're getting out of me.) Fellow Broadway vet Garber (Sweeney Todd) will play the father of Glee's leading man, Hairspray hunk Matthew Morrison. (Tony winner Debra Monk is his mom.)
