I was just writing to post that...but because there was a commercial for it on FOX.
Didn't look as horrid as I expected!
If we're not having fun, then why are we doing it?
These are DISCUSSION boards, not mutual admiration boards. Discussion only occurs when we are willing to hear what others are thinking, regardless of whether it is alignment to our own thoughts.

I'll tune in for it. Does anyone remember the name of the sitcom that I think only aired once or twice about the quirky young high school teacher?? I think the Dog Eat Dog host was also in the cast?? What was it's name...??
Not sure if this is what you're talking about, but there was Miss Guided about the young guidance counselor who tried WAY too hard, played by the hilarious character actress Judy Greer. And it had Brooke Burns (the Dog Eat Dog host). I remember it for trying to do a high school production of Miss Saigon, a pretty funny example of everything that can go wrong with high school theater. As for this show, it's on Fox so it's almost written in stone that it will be canceled before it's time. I mean I lost faith in this network years ago when they couldn't even keep Arrested Development, which critics and award-givers actually liked, around. These days I Tivo Fringe and actually love T:SCC (but that's more to do with Brian Austin Green and my 90210-proximity-viewings-mandate) but know that since it's on Fox it's a gamble. Ever since they announced Kristin and Victor to the cast, however, it makes me less sad about the cancellation of their respective musical-ish series (Pushing Daisies and Eli Stone) and more excited for Glee.
The trailer doesn't look too bad, but the script IMO was too depressing for comedy and not "intense" enough for a drama. I know they say it's in the middle, but I'm not sure how well that will work.
Jimmy, what are you doing here in the middle of the night? It's almost 9 PM!
"You can't overrate Bernadette Peters. She is such a genius. There's a moment in "Too Many Mornings" and Bernadette doing 'I wore green the last time' - It's a voice that is just already given up - it is so sorrowful. Tragic. You can see from that moment the show is going to be headed into such dark territory and it hinges on this tiny throwaway moment of the voice." - Ben Brantley (2022)
"Bernadette's whole, stunning performance [as Rose in Gypsy] galvanized the actors capable of letting loose with her. Bernadette's Rose did take its rightful place, but too late, and unseen by too many who should have seen it" Arthur Laurents (2009)
"Sondheim's own favorite star performances? [Bernadette] Peters in ''Sunday in the Park,'' Lansbury in ''Sweeney Todd'' and ''obviously, Ethel was thrilling in 'Gypsy.'' Nytimes, 2000
I gave up on this show only a few seasons into season three. Mike gets disowned for wanting to dance? What is that?!
