Anybody try out the Wednesday rush or the nightly lottery recently? Hoping to catch this before the Tony noms just in case prices go up or it winds up closing early.

My daughter and I entered the lottery for the matinee last Wednesday 4/19 and there was probably 40 people there at the most. We did win and the tickets were front row center and we loved the show!
I've done a handful of the in person lottos on Saturdays in April. Every time there's easily about 100 people, though never as many as in person lotteries used to be. That's good though, because this show raffles off so few seats. I want to say it's 19 - it's always an odd number, and I feel like only 8 or 9 names get called each time. I've never won, though I did see it in previews.
They also have a cancellation line barricaded directly next to the lottery entry, and every time that always is about 10 people deep immediately after entry begins.
Mean Girls certainly won't be an easy ticket for a while, but I imagine it'll slow down in the Fall since it won't get much (any?) Tonys love and not great word of mouth. So once everyone who is dying to/feels like they
"must see it" has seen it, it'll stop selling out.

Just a heads up, they recently started a standing room policy. My friend and I were sold a $30 standing room ticket. They only sold 4 tickets though, so I'm not sure if they play on announcing or keeping this, but just a heads up!

The rush tickets and the lottery tickets are located at the same place?

They are only doing rush for the 2 shows on Wednesdays, you need to wearing something pink to buy the tickets. People have been starting the line around midnight, and even getting there between 5 and 6am has been too late some weeks.
In-person lottery is for roughly 20 seats, front row center, and has been drawing varied numbers, lowest numbers on Wednesday and Saturday matinees.
They have space in the back of the room for 10 standing room positions. How many they have to sell depends on production needs. They are only sold at the discretion of the box office, when the show is entirely sold out, and there is no real set policy yet.
If you want to see the show, and not try these methods, the box office yesterday said that the best availability right now is for Wednesday matinees

I've done the Wednesday rush. Pink is encouraged, but hardly enforced. I was second in line and got there at 4am. I had friends that went this week at 5 and were about 7th in line. You definitely don't have to get in line at midnight.

Good to know. Where were the rush seats located?
Thanks for the info, everyone! I'll be doing this next Wednesday and will report back as well.

I'm going to be doing the in-person lottery for the Wednesday matinee on May 9th. I'm going for a single ticket. If any solo theatregoers would be into linking up and shooting for a pair to double our chances, let me know!

Ours was in Row E, far house right. Slightly obstructed but nothing major.
I did the Wed rush today and got an eve perf ticket; orch C10, hopefully not too terribly partial. :) Was second in line there at 3:30, the first person got there at 1 (!!) but obviously most came later (although the line was definitely a thing by 5)...

It's not too partial at all. Honestly shouldn't even be partial. My friend sat there from rush once. Don't worry!

At the lotto now. Something not said. If you are wearing pink you get a different pink slip. We are not wearing pink so we got plain white slip. Just a heads up.

So not sure if this is every lotto or just Wed. FIRST the pink tickets go in and they draw. The first person gets their tickets for free. After that they add the white tickets then they draw the rest.

It's kinda weird they dont have a set number of lotto tickets. One time it was 20 when I went. Once it was 19 and another it was 21.

Anyone here who can wait on the rush line from a super early time need a plus one? It seems impossible to get rush tickets for Mean Girls with a 9 to 5 job
I enter the lottery online every day and nothing. I did the lottery in person once on my birthday week with a pink ticket, and also nothing. Mean Girls is my absolute favorite movie - I HAVE to go

Are the online lotto seats located where the in person ones are?
And, are weekday lotteries significantly harder to win in the summer because of more people? I've never even done the in person ones, but I want to try soon

The girl doing the in person lotto said there are fewer seats available for the online one (but she couldn't say the exact number), and the seats are usually extreme sides (vs first row orchestra for in person lottery).

Any Saturday matinee reports? Will be going this week and wondering if I need a definite backup show or if I have a pretty good shot
