I believe it. Hopefully if they step up the writing more will get noticed next year. The only one that stood a chance, a long shot of a chance it was, was Debra Messing.

I agree, I love Debra's character. Uma I think got the nom the way most nominees do - voters see the name and think 'well, it's a star, she must have been great.' Voters are so complacent (see all Modern Family actors getting nominated every time now. Ho hum.)

From the promo that NBC just released it seems to be coming back in the fall, otherwise it is a very mis leading NBC fall promo.

and BWW saying they have a preview of Hudson in Smash, when it's simply a two second clip of her saying one line. No Smash teasers, until November please.

I was up in NYC, July 26-29, and I saw posters informing residents that the production would be in the area and equipment where they were shooting "Smash." Unfortunately, I didn't see any actual shooting. I did run into Christian Borle as we were both heading to the 50th/Broadway subway station. I got a little star struck and blurted out, "I really enjoy Glee, er, I mean Smash." He said, "It's fine. I like Glee, too." So, that was fun.
